I WATCHED THE FIRST DAY FIRST SHOW & IT WAS HOUSEFULL ... I LOVED THE MOVIE & REALLY FUNNY... ALSO I CAN HEAR SOME WHISTLES WHENEVER AKKI CRACKS A JOKE... AKKI IS REALLY FAST FUN

You mean to say MNIK and the way the whole thing was made was not ridiculous ? You mean to say it is very realistic that an Asperger's patient walks all the way to meet the american president, on the way saving many ppl from floods and whatnots and ultimately meets him also ?
You mean to say as in Kuch Kuch hota hain where the guy gets married and has a kid who is around 7 or 8 years old and still the lady is unmarried and then just before her marriage she decides to marry him is very realistic ?
I rmember when an SRK movie was released the review by Raja Sen (who else!) read "as much as it may sound impossible, but what the heck, even Independence Day sounded so, but the movie was just out of this world."
Which means if SRK gives us ridiculous movies, it is okay becoz Independence Day was also unbelievable, but if others try to give us a new story or a new story line, it is unrealistic and unimaginative.
Bhool Bhulaiya was given 1 star and Priyadarshan was panned by Raja the great, and the same Priyadarshan was praised and Billu given 3 stars, and Ghajini was panned and with 2.5, but OSO was given 3.5, MNIK was given 3.5 and 3 Idiots was given 2, which means by his standards Billu is better than 3 Idiots and Ghajini.
This itself proves the entire exercise of reviewing to be a farce and not at all

You're awesome man!! But what's the point? The reviewer will continue to dish out shit and give RAone 5 stars which I can bet right away will be the biggest flop of this century and the previous.

SRK movies involve the best team in all departments, say direction, editing, screenplay, etc. So the product is boung to be polished and deserve giving a shot. Thats why his movies are always blockbusters. You anti-SRK shits will not understand this point. Hence keep your jealousy alive. Good Luck.

Dear Sanath, SRK had a Special Appearance in Billu. Irfan Khan was the hero of the movie. SO Billu is not a SRK movie. I didnt say that 3 Idiots is not a good movie. I am just clarifying your views about SRK movies. I liked Ishqiya also. Dont bring SRK in every issue, he is way ahead of Akki.

Brother I am talking about the kind of reviews dished out. According to Raja Sen Billu got a 3 star, Ghajini 2.5 and 3 Idiots 2.
Also you mentioned that all SRK films involve the best in the department - and I am pointing out that the very same package who makes an AK or any other movie is criticized very obviously and when the same team does an SRK movie they are praised. Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav become loud when they act with Akki and are a good act when with SRK. Incidentally Billu was produced by SRK as well.
Even if Billu is left aside how would u rate RNBDJ ? It was given 3.5 and now compare it to the biggest hit the Indian film industry has ever seen - 3 Idiots. The word biggest hit itself shows how many ppl enjoyed the movie.
I used to like SRK movies earlier on when he started coming in movies - Darr, etc...but Way ahead of akki ? Never ! U urself mentioned - SRK movies are only packages - the movies are just as good as the package - whereas Akshay and Aamir matter the most in movies that they act in.
It is very clear to plain eye that there is a lot of bias going on, and the fact being mouthed by the very top players in the industry including Mr. Bachchan that there are paid reviews instead of paid previews.

Dear Sanath Don't put akshay & aamir on the same platform.Even aamir's average flick is better than akshay's best flick. Also Akshay can't even think to match aamir in any department of film-making.If you don't buy this point then watch Peepli Live on 13th Aug.Even promos of peepli live are a million times better than this crap or any other crap of this self-claimed khiladi.

abhay dubey, so u agree aamir is a class act - and now compare the reviews given by rediff or masand or other jerks and u will get what i am talking about.
btw i have seen the malayalam version of this movie and i at least know that it is a sincere attempt to give a different storyline for the masses (not the KJo Farah Khan types) where the main hero is an aam aadmi like u and me, and not a superstar (OSO) or a superhero(Ra.1) - where the comedy is satirical and not based on tastelessly teasing our legends.
I would support any actor who can carry a film on his own and not on a package where it is a meticulously planned con on the common man like MNIK (Can anybody enlighten me as to why suddenly SRK does not feel it necessary to talk about Pakistan or Pakistani players now (or maybe one month after the release of MNIK) ? So doesnt it prove that it was a publicity stunt which resulted in the common man getting hurt and troubled for his own profits ? At least the others dont resort to such stuff !

r u people like to watch a gud movie ..... all the comments coming here is only frm fans.....only fans.....sombody with srk....somebody with aamir......others with akshay.....not even thinking the movie is atleast gud to spend the time or not....
Gave crap rating to DDD, even crap rating to 3 idiots All SRK movies get min 4 stars. Will trust Priyadarshan make rather than these reviews which are always biased towards SRK

srk may hav best packages, but the point u got to keep in mind is tat the package is always the same. it never changes with the movie. same story, smae kind of music, same kind of actin.
What a piece of crap movie. Man, I am kicking myself for wasting a Friday afternoon. I wish if any way I could 'unwatch' it, for I have become intellectually poorer by it. Here is a tip: watch the Pak-Aus test match instead.
