Great review.I really loved it except for the one statement "In typical Tamil hero fashion, escapes everything from gunshots to bombs without even a bruise." Normally,I dont care about these things but this stereotyping of movies can be avoided. You speak As if Amitabh and Sharukh died in all the gun shots of the movies where they fight???In Hindi movies does the hero die in the first bullet?? Come on ppl, have ur private prejudice but typing that in a public forum and expecting to escape out of it is impossible!!!

movie - main hoon na VIllain shoots at heroine, SRK sees that, runs for 100 mtrs( ok 50 mtrs), do sone stunts to push the heroine down to save her from bullet.( He does all in split second?) The show doesnt stop here. He chases a speeding tata sumo with a cycle rickshaw , that too after the rear wheels go off, and catches the villain. (reason why sumos sales went down?)
This is just an example. So let us not tag south indian films, cimematic things are common every where.

It wont do well outside Tamil Nadu. With the kind of hatred/jealousy that other state people have for the South (particularly Tamils), they wont watch a subject thats entirely based in Madras. Rediff's message board is testimony to what I am saying (the North-South divide is highly evident here)
