what the hell is going on? Y the award is lagging one year behind? All the movies mentioned here was for 2008 movies. this is 2010.Actually award has to declare for 2009 movies. NAtional award is delayed I think
Hello , Director Bala very very truely deserve this award. He is from Tamil Nadu. He already make three films, in which earlier actors got national award.( pithamagan - vikram ). Everybody should/must watch the film Naan Kadavul ( I AM GOD ) , it life about the beggars and why beggars are created and how beggars are used . Very difficult to take that film . Kuddos to bala
it is sad that complete non actors are given the most prestigious awards. There was nothing spectacular in priyanka's acting. There were many other deserving actors and actresses who could and should have won. Sorry state of affairs.

Priyankas acting was good but not on par with excellent actors for which a national award should have been given,Fashion was a good film and riyanka did justice but not great acting same goes for kangana she has done better roles .Probably no great female talent was competing ,like in Raveenas case a few years back.... When KAMAL,mOHANLAL,mmooty,Amitabh,Smita PATIL,sHBHANA aZMI,rEVATHI,WHO HAVE RECEIVED NATIONAL AWARDS FOR OUTSATNDING PERFOMANCE THROUGH THE YEARS ITS SAD THAT THE NATIONAL AWARD GOES FOR AVERAGE ACTING OFF LATE EXCEPT FOR A STRAY CASE LIKE priya mani,who was superb in Paruthiveeran

You are right. I feel it could have been given to Pooja for her acting in Naan Kadavul
itz sad to c ppl like priynaka and arjun rampal winning awards....kangana was brilliant...wht was so great abt priyanka and tht stone faced arjun rampal....
ppl like mohanlal..mamooty..kamal..shobana...have been national award winners..itz sad..to c non actors like arjun and priyanka gettin d same awards..tht 1 time has been won by legends
Who won the award for best music director? why the title talks about the best actress, when something more like best director and best cinematographer are more important for the movie. Even the best actor name is sounded at a low level.
