I think this review is really uneccesarily harsh. And the way in which you've criticised SRK's performance says alot about your ignorance of the disorder which he portrays. The script is verbose as are his dialogues because that is how autistic men behave - what you said about spouting Quran verses, Einstein quotes and his mum's teachings - that is how they relate what goes on in their head...almost like rote memorisation...so really his part was written and played in a very realistic way...you critics are strange...when SRK does the same Raj Rahul stuff..you pan him for not doing anything different. And when he does something unconventional..and does it well...you pan it for being a weird attempt... Please give constructive criticism rather then criticising just for the sake of it! I'm an American who experienced first hand the pre 9/11 and post 9/11 era and can genuinely say that this movie gave the message I've always wanted to give the world and I can only thank Karan, SRK and Kajol for giving mainstream world cinema this gift!

Why couldn't the movie have been set in India? Why couldn't the hero not have travelled from Kanyakumari to Delhi? Why must it be told from 9/11 perspective? Why not from Bombay shootings or Gujarat? Isn't there enough paranoia in India?
