Congratulation to Mr.A.R.R!!!

At the same time we must think still the western people are degrading us. If anybody portraiting the slums and poor people they will award them with Oscar and grammy. Because they dont ready to accept our growth.Slumdog millionaire team is enjoying their life but we are suffering here. Still there is no improvement to the people in slum area.

Grammy winners in all categories are selected by voting members of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The academy is comprised of more than 19,000 musicians, producers, recording engineers and other recording professionals. President Neil Portnow explains that the academy is dedicated to serving the music community through membership and awards services, music education and preservation, philanthropy, charity and music advocacy

Hmm
A wonderful human being..

Rahman success is a lot dependent on his wonderful nature...so many instances:

When Sukhwinder Singh was upset for not being as Oscards, Rahman was the first to passify him, even thought he was on cloud 9 at that time..He also gave him a song in the next album (blue)

When the Tamil music fraternity awarded him, he made request to all his fans to not talk deterioratory about other music directors (esp Ilayaraja)

Though some directors left him for a while (Shankar, Mani Ratnam and Ghai), he was very open in welcoming them back (Director Shankar calls him sweet)

He is not a -boundaries- driven person, he makes North singers sing in south and south singers in North (even westerns sing for tamil song and vice versa), gave identity to instrumentalists on CD labels etc..

All these wonderful behaviors make him a successful person..I have not seen that behavior in other today's composers.

Confused?

I personally think that, and this must be believed by every music composer, the music for Slumdog was very average as compared to what potential A R has. This fim is gettting awards only because it is directed by Danny who has a big influence in Hollywood.Roja and Bombay were much great composition than slumdog by A R.But at the end I fweel atleast our other composers will be recogonised and will benifit our Industry some hoe.Congratulations A R.

He is undoubtedly talented however this is High influence and money game. There is nothing to be proud, his music used to be good once upon a time. Slumdog was average as a listener.

What would you say?? Rahman's career has nothing to do with Thakary. The award came for Slumdog which is contraversial name showing India is a slum!! dont forget all awards are being given on racism basis not for performance. Just to show the world India is slum!! Rahman was just a interphase to that
