Except for being a good actor, she is good in all other aspects.Being good looking and showing fashion alone does not suffice.
she was and is still better than comtemporary actresses.. her dance redifned the culture in that era.. a good song dance to another.. at 44 you cant expect her to like 24.. and the best part is that Million dollar S.M.I.L.E..
If you look at actresses past and present, you'll notice one major difference. All of the past top heroines had, no matter if they looked like aunty or girl-next-door or hot, superior acting skills. They came from all sorts of backgrounds, but they were on the top because of their acting abilities, not because of their looks or figure or filmy background. Now acting in movies is what every beauty queen, model and actor's daughter thinks is her birthright, no matter how pathetic they actually are at it. With Rani and Kajol vacating the top spot, acting seems to have vanished from actresses. Now we have to make do with the likes of Kat, Ash, and even worse, Deepika, Sonam and the likes.
