Northies are real AZZ Wholes. They are the idiotic creatures on earth. They dont know who Kasarvalli is and want to comment on them. Hey northies find one good director in current era in your north india camparable to our Sir
Girish Kasaravalli is one of the best directors in India! It's a mandatory that his films should win national awards! great work sir, keep up and keep going! good luck!
For all those whose are more concerned about "good looking actors" and "the name of the movie" can only limit themselves to mediocre commercial movies. Which hardly has a message or a takeaway apart from designer clothes and makeup. A simple Wiki search tells you Kasarvalli is arguablly the best director in the country and beyond. Maybe we as a nation are still developing because of these whimps and fancies of commercial cinemas. Lets expect quality and deliver quality to be the best. Everything else fades....

guess its a case of casting pearls before swines. And get a move on nothie ,we are in the 21 st century.
Girish Kasaravalli’s Riding the Dreams (Kanasemba Kudureyaneri), screened at the Mumbai Film Festival, is part of India’s reality cinema savoured by a small, but devoted, audience. In fact,Bengaluru-based Kasaravalli’s films have never been big crowd-pullers, and this movie is not likely to be an exception. The film is a brilliant study of how India’s poorest of the poor struggle to survive in awfully degrading conditions.
