dev anand

Despite being an ardent fan of the "GUIDE", I
would have no fear to state that DEv SAAB has gone out of favour, flavour, and out of memory
of post 1980 born generation.HE has been a part of many blockbusters produced in 60s,70s and 80s. period. The last recognized popular hit was "Des Pardes"hitting theatres in 1978.
The movie was awell made topical with excellent
musical score by Rajeash roshan.
The thing is that one can not survive and depend on the past laurels,Post 1985 DA made
really bad films which nobody watched ever.
He should hang his boots(literally)and retire
gracefully as he has lost sense of scripting.
NO OFFENCE>

Dont Overstay your Welcome
by Satyawadi Sakhigopal on Aug 04, 2010 11:40 AM

Dev Anand is a legend in his true right. However over the last few years, his film making has become a farce. Who watches his movies? People who are going Dev saab Dev saab..please mention the names of the last five Dev Anand Movies without looking into Wikipdia.
Indian audience will always remember Dev Anand for Guide, CID, Jewel Thief, Johnny Mera Naam and not Charge Sheet.

by Rajnish on Aug 04, 2010 11:39 AM

this interview is clearly fabricated to suit film's PR activities. sum of the things cud not have been said by a person as humble as dev anand even at 87.

What a Bloody Inspiration!!
by Argumentative Indian on Aug 04, 2010 11:33 AM

In my late thirties I was feeling low on energy and lazy and this 87 year young dynamite says, Energy begets Energy, if you are lazy, you will always be lazy.

How true.
How inspirational.

Cheers, Dev Saab.
