see his performance in "bheema" climax and say if he is a good actor?if he were such a good actor, his last few movies would have been average grossers. kamal's "dasavatharam" was an average movie, yet it is one of the biggest blockbusters of kamal's career, coz people flocked to the theaters to see his performance.

who cares...Bollywood has its crap and we have ours...Bollywood has its Super Stars and we have ours..the South Industry as a whole has thrived in its own right...espcially Tamil and Telegu industry...there are great script writers, movie makers, actors and actresses...dont foget we gave Bolly Vaijayanthi mala, Hema, Sridevi's...its just that Heroes like Rajini, Kamal dont see a reason to change themself into a Amitabh or Shah Rukh when they get roles and publicity in their own regional area...and its not like Rajini makes any less money...so whats their need to stay back in Bolly? Nothing...look at Mani Ratnam..he saw a need to be there as $$ was less in South for him and he has comfortably started making movies for both Hindi and Tamil and extends it to Telugu..smart director..so there is anough talent and audience to appreciate it here ... no need for Vikram to run to do roles in Bolly and try to impress by seaking Hindi.

vadivel also doing a good comedy role... meaning for the versatile is kamal... he touched all the nook and corners in the film world. vikram is the one atleast crossed 40% in his versatile acting.. where as others not even crossed 20%.. vijay acting is 0%..

an actor needs to entertain people and give returns to the people who have invested in him. vijay has delivered that consistently. though his recent films have been mass movies, check his movies such as thulladha manamum thullum, poove unakkage, thamizhan, udhaya, sachien etc for his acting. he could have chosen that route, but wanted to entertain people in a big way and hence opted for mass image. had he stuck for the above said type of roles, he would have grown great than the so-called actors like vikram, surya, etc.

If south indians like ar rahman, santosh sivan,shankar mahadevan and mani ratnam(who is the only living indian to be featured in Times magazine) stop working in hindi movies you will have only bull left in your face from your north counterparts. If you are from North......does your state have a director like Mani, or a composer like Rahman.
I'm from AP....we have Krishna Vamsi (not as great as Mani but equal to him)...Rahman started his career in Telugu Films....as a keyboard player under Music director Koti.....so lets not discuss it.
What does your state have?????
I'm speaking of a film industry within your state......like Biharis have Bhojpuri etc. Not that Bhojpuri is great. But @least they have something of their own.
It is a different story that.......the whole cost of the movie equals the cost of a hero's costumes etc in a Telugu film.

To be honest... if Mani is not going to make that film in Hindi... some other fellow is going to copy or remake (killing in the original version) it in hindi. He doesnt want to loose his credits by this duplication and thats why he started to do in multi-lingual, understand?
