You're right. His previous movie Vinaithaandi Varuvaaya had an awesome music but Raavan is a complete mediocrity. It's high time Mani Ratnam replaces A.R.Rahman with Harris Jayaraj.

i have seen lot ppl like you msged VTV music was crap by the time of audio release...but now it seems to be awesome... i hope ravanan also will do the same; will be crap until it get hit...just speak it from your mind my friend...don't do it for others

this movie should b on the lines of dalapathi. dalapathi was inspired by mahabharatha , ravana by ramayana i guess.anyway dalapathi is all time fav hope ravana ll b aswell
it is developed version of KHALNAYAK hindi movie. abhi playing sanjay dutt's part with more dreaded and lethal way , this is not wat i xpect from matero like ratnam
Tamil film industry versatile than copy cat bollywood. leave out Aamir khan and Ab there are very few directors who in copywood make good films like vishal, gulzar, ashu, raj kumar santhosi few others. where film makers like kjo, slb, chopra etc never made any good films think as if they are speilberg… non sense bollywood all big films are south Indian tenchincians especially illayaraja, maniratnam, Shankar, ar rahman, thota tharani, pc sreeram, kv anand ravi k chandran etc ….. we have the greatest super star of INDIA Rajni ask even mr. ab most brilliant actor kamal… vikram is far better than most copywood actors….

V dont come U guy beg to do films rahman is begged by kjo & sanjay leela bansali but he never agreed to work with these non sense directors.. pc sreeram santhosh sivan, ravi k chandran, kv anand, manikandan, sabu cyril, sree prasad etc ... thank aamir is changed the way films made in copywood take majority of films pre lagaan all hollywoods copies or romantic films with all same story nothing new in it. its aamir how bought revolution in hindi film industry some credit goes to ramu ashu vishal who made good entertaining films not nonsense films. even yash chopra is making good films like chak de INDIA.... We make big budget movies like sivaji, dasavatar now robo which will be trend setter... We have only limited buisness but we dare to make different big and small films.. we young good talented directors like bala, amir, selvaragvan, gautam, myshkin many others... ask even mr. ab or aamir they kknow the class of tamil films we have entertaining masala films and realistic path breaking films too check friends..

This gentleman finds tamil industry to be best in the country..ok fine...but why do u want to sling mud on bollywood or any other industry. You think Tamil Industry is original. That must be a joke. Most of Rajini's movies are remakes, most of the Kamal's movies are hollywood inspired ( he copies emotiions from Hollywood actors ), Vijay's movies are remakes,... Ajith is poor choice of selecting scripts. Except for a few handful of technicians, tamil industry is not original.

billa is remake of don of Mr. Ab, chachi 420 of kamal hassan was also copy. vijay vetikaran is copy of hindi movie soldier. u need some more?? tell me ...we do all copy, now days only we are copying officialy , wedenesday as reworked in tamil by kamal haasan, gajini by aamir khan.leave it but u ppl remain in urs , good for u, else u will get a skar on ur chin
