4 stars is too less
by Andy on Apr 26, 2010 01:07 PM  | Hide replies

4.5 is minimum rating for this because this is one of the classic album for the maestro A.R.Rahman, and those who don't like the album listen it for few more times and then listen because the songs are not catchy. I rate this album a complete package between classic folk rock. I rate this album 5/5.

1 stat is more than enough. This album is the worst ever created one from ARR. Sorry, there could be other albums also from him which fits this category, and still many to come in future also.

@ indian: leave other people alone and go and listen to other music (if you dont like rahman's music). if you think others give better music, go and enjoy those! nothing will affect rahman or his music if you dont listen to his music.

Extremely sorry but i would really appreciate if u could tell me what did u mean by stereotyped music... or could i ask you do u know the meaning of stereotype... He has given two best albums this year in the name of VTV (tamil) and Raavan. With Raavan i sure hell was surprised because he was totally different from his previous work and it is difintly for the hardcore fans of ARR not for some people who talk idiocy about music

FYI: This is not a movie set in the stone age .. this is a contemporary story about Naxalism and it's base is Ramayana ..

Hvnt u seen the trailer in which Abhi is biking around ... u think that was possible in Stone Age??

My second point is .. even if a stone age movie comes .. wats ur problem with it .. try and appreciate all kinds of movies not just the no-brainer masala / comedy movies which have the potential to numb those who hv a bit of brains into slow death ...

I get your point...

Look at Vishal's fils Omkara, Maqbool etc, he has rehashed the BARD's plays so beautifully to fit into Indian present day scenario..

I think Mani is as good if not better than Vishal and so can expect a really good film.

rating 4 for this movie is too cruel. Just to keep the stars section filled, this movie could be awarded with 1 star. The music is utter failure, pls don't waste your money buying CDs/ pls don't waste your bandwidth listerning to the songs online.
