If at all this happened with the girl's consent, the entire argument is moreso futile..if they do decide to have sex in consent, no law can suggest either the girl or the man involved to be guilty!!!
I suppose its only with time and proper evidence we will know the truth but without a doubt I do feel bad for the poor wife and the infant.. Immaterial whether this is a breach of law, whatever happened is certainly breach of trust..
