Time and again, why why do they make films like this? Knowing that guaranteed these stories and the way Bollywood does them - are always cliched and hackneyed. Do they ever learn? shameful

what srk has to do here.Have you seen this movie, almost the theatre was empty on sunday, did srk stopped the people to see this movie,AB has to selective and this movie is not watchable.
Biggest Flop of the Year...please nominate this movie.
I think when you put in new star casts, you MUST remember to tone down the role of people like Amitabh. Such senior actors should be given much shorter roles which showcase the main performers - actors. Neither of the stars will be remembered for this movie. Any getting politician children's into dance sequences is a no-no, especially when you know Amitabh is pro one political party - you tend to know its his word of mouth.
Overall I wish I had not gone for the movie. I found it a terrible movie. I wish it had ended after the first 30 minutes.

Are Yaar...Who are these peoples dare to compare Sharukh or others with BigB............One is at 67 and others are at least 23 yrs lagging..........How they can compare these cheap actors with AB. At least AB has the courage to experiment new with this genre directors.................All Dick & Harries are busy with single image acting............Popularity does not always reflects calibre

AB leading the effort..isnt he talking about retirement and helping the new generation..until he helps show case the new generation, his ego-filled era will remain. Im not saying he's a bad actor - he's incredibly good. In fact his acting and speech was dynamic BUT the movies called Aladin, and not The Genie..the movie seemed to show case him at 67 (Age) rather than the younger crew - which is what the movies about.
Where did the Parot go? Wheres flying carpet (except a 10 second slip and slide in the house). Where's all the mystic approach. Where's the focus on the younger stars....Too much use of AB has allowed the movie to show that this is a movie for the seniors.
But thats not the point of the movie is it? the point was to make the new starts (younger generation) known. Here is your pick of a very normal looking person (I honestly thought he looked like a Mentos actor, not a good looking one or smart one). If you are trying to promote him, you need to give his a role a push, not AB's. The actress you have on the other end is very pretty - yet again, you show her being a fighter...how about removing AB from the entire movie, and letting the girl be the Genie (prounded "Gen") lol...
I'd like people to think about whether the movie is out to promote the younger generation or to prove that only the old generation can act?....by the way this was a movie for my grand parents to feel younger, than a movie for me and my aged group young adults.
