If this is Good, then only God can save us. Even children have rejected this movie. Definitely, it is WORST MOVIE OF THE YEAR.

AB leading the effort..isnt he talking about retirement and helping the new generation..until he helps show case the new generation, his ego-filled era will remain. Im not saying he's a bad actor - he's incredibly good. But thats not the point of the movie is it? the point was to make the new starts (younger generation) known. Here is your pick of a very normal looking person (I honestly thought he looked like a Mentos actor, not a good looking one or smart one). If you are trying to promote him, you need to give his a role a push, not AB's. The actress you have on the other end is very pretty - yet again, you show her being a fighter...how about removing AB from the entire movie, and letting the girl be the Genie (prounded "Gen") lol...
I'd like people to think about whether the movie is out to promote the younger generation or to prove that only the old generation can act?....by the way this was a movie for my grand parents to feel younger, than a movie for me and my aged group young adults.
Whenever a copy of A movie is made the movie has to out-beat the original in all departments. Aladdin fails in all departments. We had a load of Ginni (Genius) and less of Aladdin. If they had stayed with the original Tale also it would have been more better movie.

Review was biased to the extent of an additional star. Wouldn't give it more than 1 star. 1 and 1/2 for bit of more diplomacy, but nothing more.

really???.....so what do you expect when you act a Genie role???......down to earth acting???...He is the best along with other actors in the movie....I cant see any other actor at 67 can play this role with such enthuisiasm (and not to forget genie rap sung by hsi own voice)....hats off to bigb.........

His role and acting was great. But the story is Aladin and not "Genie at 67"...movie was a big let down (though my hopes were bad from the start).
disappointed by Sujoy ghosh and half baked story line.....Sujoy should concentrate on films like Jhankar beats rather than venturing into unpopular genre of bollywood.....
Once again AB has prooved that he can only deliver FLOOOOOOOOOOPS.

AB has always given atleast one successful film every year since 1998....Sure he shouldn't have tried a genre which is not popular in Bollywood but I think that at this age he played Genie very well in ALADIN even though audience may confuse that it's a Ritesh's film....Just wait for R. Balki's PAA which is going to be released in December..BTW his show BIGBOSS 3 is doing extremely well unlike KBC3 and PAANCHVI FAIL......

keep dreaming.......watched his show Unforgettable here in US and I bet no other actor could have pulled so much crowd as he did.......same applies with his succesfuyl venture with small screen as well....At this age he is atleast experimenting roles like CHEENI KUM (tell me any other actor who could have pulled this role successfully), BHOOTNATH, KANK,PAA etc..If he has lost his charm then people like Raj santoshi, sUJOY gHOSH. BALKI etc and other producers wouldnt have taken him in their movies.......
But hey there is nothing harm to dream.....so keep dreaming.......But the reality is that his charm is both in small screen as well as big screen whther its hosting, acting or ads, his brand value is still strong at 67........
What a Waste!!! Amitabh should stop acting and open a paan shop at Gateway Of India. He is only good in that.

No Dude...I don't think so.....He is doing evry well in BIGBOSS3 whose rating is something that you SRK fans will always be jealous of....BUt sure I do agree that he shouldnt be working with directors who haven't prooved themselves in a particular genre......Sujoy Ghosh is one such example (even though I think that its not that bad kinda movie)....AB should work with directors like Balki (CHEENI KUM) RajSantoshi(KHAKEE), SLB (Black), VipulShah (AANKHEIN, WAQT), Mahesh Manjrekar (VIRUDHH),Sanjay Gupta (Kaante),Rakesh Mehra (Aks), Ravi CHopra(Baghban), Govind Nihalani (Dev) etc who can bring up maximum talent from BIGB....He should avoid RGV, Karan Johar, Sujoy Ghosh,Kaizag Gustagh etc..
