The film had huge expectations as it was from a big banner and had a big cast but the public has rejected the film. It is unlikely that film can even do 30 crore nett lifetime business.
these rediff reviewers should be fired... do they know what they are watching ?? They don't even know ABC of what a movie is and start reviewing the movies...

A gr8 comeback of VIVEK OBEROI with this 1…Saif is extra-ordinarily good…Om Puri and Kirron Kher have also done a gr8 job…the story is so gripping..awesome screenplay, & superb performances

I just wondered - are these journalist being paid are are they too afraid to write anything against Karan Johar or YRF.
The storyline, script, acting, setting, and dramatization are all laughable. The only thing that stands out is cinematography - I guess that is what has made people believe that it is a pretty smart movie.
How can the reviewer say this - "Producer Karan Johar [ Images ] has obviously pulled out all the stops. This seems to have been an uncompromised film -- right from the convincing extras in the outdoor scenes, the policemen, reporters and FBI agents, to the choice of locations, sets, props and the blast sequences. The detailing is evident." The extras, location, and sets are laughable. There is not much detail - Keep in mind this attack is not in mumbai - an attack like this can create havoc in the whole country and the whole country will be behind the terrorist.
In any case, my ten year old was able to find so many holes and weakness in the script and it is not funny.

u r right. There are so many loopholes in the movie. Atleast now people of Delhi will realize that travelling in Delhi metro is much safer than metros of us. How can the passengers get inside a metro with gun and bomb. So silly. Especially after 9 /11.

There is a contradiction in rediff statements itself.. the Box office page says "Too many loopholes, too long." as Thumbs Down whereas the reviewer says "film that does not feel long despite the two hours and 40 minutes."

HI, I totally agree with you & you are correct all these reporters get paid by the producers for praising such pathetic movies.Just showing a a few blasts & showing a FBI men doesn't even bring this movie any closer to a Hollywood film.SO plsssssssssss stop praising such idiotic films, its a waste of money & time........So all u ppl out there are u listening.

I think KJo/SRK etc are giving them money to promote this crap and downgrade good movies from other hardworking ppl. Review of Kurbaan is total Bluff, reviewer seems to either have a Low IQ or Low integrity to praise this movie.
Karan Johar has come of age now. Now he is making more significant movies related to the recent times like Dostana, Wake up Sid and now Kurbaan. Kurbaan is indeed a Good Movie. Worth a Watch!!!
this movie was jst too good!!....i dnt noe y there r some bad reviews for this film!...i saw it in the theater nd the hall was jam packed!...the songs wer also damn good!
