Money, time Kurbaaned
by Stream Enterer on Nov 23, 2009 05:31 PM

Karan johar the grown up kid of the industry tries to step into shoes too big for him. Kurbaan is for the harebrained, who are totally out of touch with reality in the US.

yes ofcourse, Karan tried his hand by bring in audience to theater by coaxing kareena to expose her back (petite, skinny as if she has been starving), he knew the movie has nothing else to offer.

Terrorism itself is a serious matter, to make movie on it, it has to sound real, not unlike Karan's mushy mushy ficticious love stories. it so simple that karan has made serial bomb blasting a child play ooopps women play.

Go for Kurbaan if you beleive the following things can actually happen in real life :
1. Saif Ali Khan is on FBI's radar but still managers to immigrate to US and work in US without any background verification just by marrying a US citizen
2. Kareena Kapoor breaks into her neighbour's house just because she feels suspicious.
3. Nauheed Cyrusi entered US with her husband 'legally'. However, the cops cannot trace here identity because 'no records exist'.
4. The FBI has Saif Ali Khan's picture with them and yet he walks around the state of NY without any disguise whatsoever. Even walks into a bar and kills a guy.
5. Kareena Kapoor is her house with a few guys trying to break in. She stares at the door for a while and then tries to escape from backdoor but doesnt bother dialling 911
6. Kareena Kapoor comes to know about the plan to bomb an aircraft and She manages to make a call. Not to 911 but to a pretty journalist.
7. An ordinary reporter takes a matter that befits an FBI agent into his own hands without involving anyone else.
8. A terrorist manages to put explosives in an aircraft on his own but bribes an airport security guy to carry the detonator
9. A terrorist blows up a subway station. The entire building collapse but an FBI officer at a distance of a few yards from th e explosive manages to survive.
10. FBI comes to know about terrorist plan to blow subway station but doesnt bother to shut down the subway system

Excellent Points... Also, the NY subway runs in a shot for a long time but there is no station in site.. the NY subway stops at average 2 mins at a station, the stations are that close. This movie was so lame!!! KJo is just trying to fool the Indian people who live in India by potrying false America.. This movie is for dumb people.

Ban Kurbaan
by arun punjabi on Nov 23, 2009 12:58 PM

The movie could fuel revenge sentiments amongst certain sections of the minority population, if the movie is not viewed in the correct perspective.
Hence such movies should be banned in public interest considering the immature population of this country
