For those of you who have read the book, you 'd know how important the role of the director of CERN(European Nuclear Research Institute)..but here in the movie he's not there at all..:O
however, it was a good movie to watch though..

Good Movie
by hemal karambelkar on May 30, 2009 06:00 PM

Those people who have read the book would be frowning for alternation of the plot but it rather improved the situation. The movie was much tighter, smoother and is clearer than its predecessor Da Vinci Code. The role of Vittoria Vetra should have been bit stronger, she doesn't seem to doing much than just being present there. But I think its acceptable considering the complexity of the story with such type of themes. Tom Hanks seems to be much sharper and more comfortable with the role now than in Da Vinci Code where he seemed as if he has just received the script. I found the Camerlengo Patrick McKenna (Ewan McGregor) really does justice to the role and remains in our memory even after movie is over.

The movie is much better than Da Vinci Code. Though if you compare the books its other way round. Many times its extremely difficult to convert a good book into a movie.

Lo kar lo baat!!!

Here is another Impatient "Gen Y" type of a person: I want it all phataphat...

If you're so seriously interested in the controversy of the movie, why don't you spend some time and research for yourself what it's all about?

If I tell you that both the stories are interesting, would you believe it and take it on its face value?

Someone else will tell you that both the stories are horrible and disgusting.

Everyone has an opinion -
Just like a(r)s(e) holes. You got one too

Don't you????? Exercise it...

MUMBAI: The Christian community's protest against the film Angels & Demons in India is reaching its final stage. India's Censor Board Screening Committe has seen the film and have issued NO Certificate, in view of the contents of the movie. They have now referred the film to a Revising Committee and as urged upon, by the Christian Secular Forum (CSF), the chairperson, Smt. Sharmila Tagore will also be present.

There is nothing obscene in the movie. It only questions the church for not accepting scientific facts. Are you saying we must throw science into the dustbin coz christians like you find science to be obscene ? And we should get back to decent facts like the sun travelling around the earth I guess !

Like Brown's The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons is a religious thriller. The Da Vinci Code angered Catholics because it supposes and proves that Jesus was married and his wife bore a child and the bloodline persists to this day.
