Boss this is a different film. But different films usually suck very bad. But surprisingly and fortunately this 99 rocks. Hats off for that. And well done rediff by putting up another opinion. More than silly srk films getting 2 or 3 reviews, i think smaller and smarter films like these deserve them more.
Actually please make it a policy for these new breed of films to get at least 2 opinions. I did not like Dev D did not get a second opinion either. As a hardcore avid fan of the site, I request you to start this practice of having multiple or at least 2 reviews for those films that deserve multiple opinions.

i dont think that it is as much original as u claim it to be.sutrely the story is original to an extent but if u watch guy ritchie films like"SNATCH" or tarantino,u wd know that it is inspired stuff.
People were literally rolling with laughter after watching this movie, including me. Very good stress buster... a must watch... I would definitely give a straight 3 out of 5. very entertaining, though Soha's character seems as if she is under lots of tension... :)
This is Best Movie in 2009. I was Tensed and Depressed, bcozz of my work and life but after watching this movie i realyy felt relax and chill. Guysss if u wanna have smile on you r face Go N watch this movie. U will enjoy it
notwithstandin' d absence of relatively well promoted movies i went 2 wtch '99' by choice. i guess the film's biggest strength inter alia is the lack of xpctation frm it... othrs include apna khemu's laudable prfrmnce, the very existence of the bizzarely - outworldly - humorous Cyrus. Boman Irani like alwyz suceeds to makebelieve...equally entertaining is our "KUBER"..... Mahesh Manjrekar plays (now seen a numbr of times) irritated hooligan-cum-bussnessman in mumbai. all in all a fun filled movie...but like its title , only scores a 99 - praiseworthy but'll not hit the headlines.
