I loved the movie! This could have as well been a Hollywood film. Brilliant story and beautifully made. Elvis's review is not representative of the film. You need to take it with a grain of salt and go check the movie out yourself.
what a hilarious film... my friends and i have just seen it... i wanted to check the review on rediff and boy, is this review wayyyyyyy off mark... what was this guy thinking of? we could'nt stop laughing our guts out at the humor, genuine moments and so full of sudden twists n turns.... i have'nt had so much fun in a long time seeing a hindi flick.. its just too good. i went in with such low expectations, but 99 totally was worth the trip to the theater!! watch the flick guys!!!
Very original story. Well made too. And plenty of humor to keep you rolling in laughter. I totally loved this one, except for the bleached(??) look of the film which was not to my taste. I would give this an A-

Itching to go to the movies, after the dry spell of Bollywood releases, we decided on 99. We were very pleasantly surprised by the super nice movie it was since we walked in without any expectations. Great humour, catchy music , good performances and best of all, it was a total entertainer. Definitely check this one out!
