There is no Tagore version of Vande Mataram, as the original was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Tagore has nothing to do with it.

simply typing some comments without knowing what he is telling.
The trailer of Rann is interesting. Promising. However I am quite upset at the reworked patriotic national anthem. Bollywood has so many lyricists. Surely RGV could have found a lyricist to write new lyrics to express the frustrations at the nations ills and composed a new song. Please do not play around with our sacred anthem.

Dear John,
There is no need to prove that you are an idiot. Get your facts right. When Tagore wrote the song immediately he was asked in the Congess itself, was it dedicated to 5th George, he denied that.
Many of the Tagore love songs are considered as love classics but all of them are dedicated to gods.

The poem was composed in December 1911 at the time of the Coronation of George V as a paean in praise of "the overlord of India's destiny". The composition was first sung during a convention of the then loyalist Indian National Congress in Calcutta on Dec. 16, 1911, on the second day of the convention when the agenda of that day was devoted to a loyal welcome of George V on his visit to India.
The press reported thus ""The Bengali poet Babu Rabindranath Tagore sang a song composed by him specially to welcome the Emperor." (Statesman, Dec. 28, 1911)" "The proceedings began with the singing by Babu Rabindranath Tagore of a song specially composed by him in honour of the Emperor." (Englishman, Dec. 28, 1911) "When the proceedings of the Indian National Congress began on Wednesday 27th December 1911, a Bengali song in welcome of the Emperor was sung. A resolution welcoming the Emperor and Empress was also adopted unanimously." (Indian, Dec. 29, 1911)

there are many more ills in this society like the bloody corrupt politicians. Is anybody raising a voice, is there any censor board to censor the corrupt activities. We always engage in such stupid controversies and ignore the larger issues affecting the entire nation...
Salute Ram Gopal Varma. For a country like India we need more directors like him. I know people will come with th eexample of Sholay and that is India. You do 10 good films they don't care. But 1 bad film will make them mad.
I don't know why everybody is accusing RGV of making bad films but remember he is the one who gives us something different to watch compared to other directors. He made 'Company'and 'Satya' which are till now one of the best movies based on underworld made in India. He made 'Sarkar', the movie that we all appreciated from the bottom of our heart. Many people would love watching his movies rather than Yash Chopra's theme of love movies that are made again and again and have same concept.

Even we ladies have moved ahead of our times. Wake up guys. Start making more competent movies. Instead of this RGV's Woh.. & all that. If RGV makes action film, then it wil be comedy for us. If RGV makes Comedy films, then we will CRY. If RGV makes movies on Relationships like the one starring Jia khan & Big B, then we will run away from the theater. CANT STAND such FOOLISH display of feelings.

Hello Mr Robin, You are from which planet?? In which world are you living. Satya and Company both have more or less the same theme. Dull screenplays and shooting an actor from complicated angles and upside movement of camera and edgy back ground score by talented music directors don't make a hollywood film. Satya was grosser because junk audiences like you watch such bizaare movies. If one film of Ramu has done well by chance, then atleast the next 9 movies are disasters.. REMEMBER THAT

Right.... Even if we do not admit aleast one good thing, we should and must point out all bad points about a person. HUMAN NATURE>>. hard to change...
Ramu & Mani Ratnam are 2 waste products from south. Both will be good at making tv serials.. They have no talent..Their aping west only makes them a bigger fool when compared to other desi directors. If you try to put mayonaise sauce on idli..will it work? Ramu can make junk movies like RGV Ki Aaag to entertain patients in mental hospital.... Ramus liasions with his costars be it male or female have been circulating in yellow jornals for a while..

NATWAR,,,,why don't you watch only Grbdas Mann movies. You will not understand RGV movies. That is why he made Sholay for your kind of audience.

One person doubles up as another person to please his wife. Oh no, the wife doesn't recognize her husband. What a super film from super director Aditya Chopra.

Did you guys know that mani had made abhishek wear just a mere loin cloth around his waist and made him climb mountains..for his upcoming movie "RAVAN".
Goes to say the kind of extent these crap directors would go with their actors.
