Read authentic letters of Tagore..study him and then you will know he was voice of India. He clearly said voiceroy even does not liable to stand before him..no question of praising such fools British used Press to malign Tagore many times..but were unsuccessful..Shantiniketan has tressured everything related to tagore.. It is poetic justice that two nations out of three from the larger mother nation have national anthems from the great man "Jana Gana" and "Amar Sonar Bangla".
