exactly,,,,I all judges were favoring a girl Indian Idol, no one said that it should be from north or south or east or west,,,she is Indian Idol for me, may be for rediff India is too big to be identified as one country...
Congrats dear sourabhee. Your voice is great. I hope to hear your voice in some great playback music. Do not disappear as you can really do great for your state and unite the nation.
nice that Sourabhee Debbraman won, she was really a darling. North-East has really lots of hidden talent espicially in the singing field. They contiue to perform well in all singing competition.
The author has mentioned the winner, then the other two kapil and torsha, etc. Also he mentions about Amit Paul phenomenon....why purposely miss out Prashant, who deservingly won the Indian Idol against Amit Paul last year. I think many people are biased....and like Amit Paul very much....and dont like to even mention Prashant's name....too narrow minded and biased people all around. We sould learn to encourage winners and apreciate their telent even if they are on the opponenets side...that show true sportsman spirit and dignified human behavior.

the simple answer is that amit paul is a 100 times better singer than prashant. prashant won only because of regional voting and madness of a particulare race. indian idol should not be selected on the basis of such regional bias. so sportsman spirit is admitting that amit paul is 100 times better than prashant tamang, but still lost.

Prashant Tamang did not definitely deserve to win.......He was not even amongst the top 5 when it came to singing prowess. Everyone knows why he won!!!Thats why he could do absolutely nothing after the competition....don't even compare Amit with Prashant.......much better conmparisons are Emon, Deepali etc.

Where is Prashant these days. I think people have the knowledge and know his is not up there. Even Javed A took Amit for his song and not Prashant

There is lots of talent in south. Indian idol is not indian its north indian. Why indian idol doesnt conduct auditions in chennai or trivandram or even in b'luru
i have been watching Indian Idol regularly all the 4 editions ... this Hussain is a big bore... even yesterday ...he was such a bore .. monkeys around apes everybody... coming to sourabhee.. yes she is a good performer and singer.. but i thought Torsha was better .. she took her task seriously and was passionate... kapil came to the top on the strenth of army votes, i think.. anyway good programme to watch....

Torsha got nervous & made mistakes too often... if u count the number of green and red lights for both over all episodes it'll become clear...

what I feel is that you cannot be Indian. You must be a porkistani using false ID and trying to divide Indians and create problems. You will never succeed.
she is not chinese.......... she is from Tripura and that is a part of india....get yourself some education first before commenting about her being chinese...... dont u have any idea about north east india u illiterte
Sourabhee deserved to win the Indian Idol from the first day this season started. She is not just a good singer, but a decent performer as well. Well done.

Rightly said Sourabhee was the delight of the judges as well as the people of India. Her rendition of some of the old songs were heart warming. The was even remarked by Javed Saheb. Apart from singing she look great on stage, her dressing sense is superb she carries herself like a professional artist. Singing on stage is multi pronged dancing, personality, dressing and taste of songs sung on stage. Everyone knew she would win it as almost certain. A great talent of course she will go a long way. Most of all she look humble.
