Why accused should be barefooted, in courts?

Is it just to ensure that the accused do not throw footwear on the face of judge?

It is to ensure that the accused is aware of the hard and blunt reality that his foot is still on the ground!

Why people behave like this.
by PRASHANT VAIDYA on Jun 15, 2009 03:58 PM  | Hide replies

With everything going as per our wishes with family to look after why is that we behave like this and tarnish one's image. Is it that we know these things are bad but can not control the urge to do it. Is any expert can give us the explanation.

My dear Prashant--Control and discipline comes out of fear and not of education.Even the animals are aware of it,that is why smaller animals run away from large animals.Take a drunkard,Madman,or less informed man--All will dare not put their fingers in fire, jump in awell,or go in a storm, or in a flooded area,or in deep Sea,becoz one mistake you are finished and no more trials please. It is final. How come these people are well displined when they face such "no chance events"
