Not really. They may just try to know about Shiney from other people. A man may have many images among people, don't you agree?
No one knows any edition of the story except for the one that media has projected and the woman has projected so far. Lets not be sure that it is 100% true. It could be misleading. If he has committed that crime, he must be prosecuted and jailed for it. Having said that, it is equally important to accumulate concrete evidence(s) to prove the same.

In Indian laws, evidences may not be necessary to nail down a rapist. In some cases, just the version of the victim is enough to punish the rapist. Please remember that in Indian society, women rarely frame a charge of rape against somebody, unless the offence has really taken place.

Usually they dont, but they have become shrewd these days. Cannot trust them blindly and hence evidence is required.

But law does not demand evidence always. In women-related cases it is very difficult for the accused to get acquitted, because the law is very strict. And, I believe that a woman in India cannot frame false rape charges.

haramohan brother. This doenst prove that the law is strict but it shows that the law is biased and blind and hence defies logic. Law must treat everyone equal and should require evidence from everyone. Else, there are women who have and who will take undue benefit by framing and accusing the innocent.

Your opinion is true only as long as there is a level playing field in thesociety. But in Indian society there is certainly no level playing field between men and women. Ity is a country where women are still regarded as second class citizens, where girls are killed even before they are born (female foeticide), where women are burnt to death just for a few thousand rupees of dowry, where the society is immensely inconsiderate and cruel to women. So, in such a society, we need such laws - otherwise how could women survive and prosper?

Thats sucks you cant condem a man just because a women says she was raped by him......what about DNA test?? that should be good evidence dont you think so??
He has confessed to the crime in front of the police, he is guilty. He should be punished. whether he was a nice man or a bad man , a crime is a crime.

Its the police who say he has admitted it. It is sure that he admitted it under pressure as police might have beaten the hell out of him in the custody. May be he has committed the crime...but police saying that he has admitted is not enough proof.

Perhaps you ay not know that in such cases, law does not need evidence as it needs in other cases.
So far we have heard about the word and now it has come real This will be a future film and will named as Shiney shame .Bolliwwod is lossing on good storey ,scripts now a days and making all rubbish films running only for 2 to 3 days and then vanishes for ever untill some channels show them again .As it is bolliwood has so many dirty stories like couch sting,love affairs between stars but this real life rape will bring lot of film producers to make film on that and I would wellcome any film producers making film on that real storey

How do you know he has raped? May be he hasnt. In India, whatever a woman says is considered conclusive without collecting substantial evidence for the same. Certain women take undue advantage of it too.

i completely agree, just to ruin his name, or take extra money, this female must have taken his name. and who knows what happened inside, she might have gone to someone else then.. its very easy to blame someone, but its very hard to create a name in the society.. 1 has to do proper investigation in the same.

The problem in India is, when people or law see a weeping woman, all sympathies are with him, no matter how big a liar she may be. This might not be the same case but we cannot rule out the possiblity.
