The plain reason is KB who produced Roja does not like Ilayaraja, they broke up about 4 years ago. So Mani was kind of forced to find a new one. KBs guy MM Kreem was a choice but not a best bet.
What ever the reason is, Ilayaraja gave life to Mani, even after 3 flops he kept giving him chance.
AR Rehman is right. This author is trying to write an unofficial autobiography. Why should Rehman even give any endorsement or time to make this author rich? Although this is legal, this is not a good practice to write about someone's private life without the person authorizing it.

Kamini Mathai has taken 5 yrs to put it together and I think its wonderful that she had the opportunity to add in the Oscar chapter. She and Penguin have clearly stated in all interviews that the book is an unauthorized biography. ARR was aware of the book from the word GO and has given interviews and contacts to Kamini. He was also kind enough to inform her that for all his help, it had to be "unauthorized" biography. Penguin chose Kamini to write the book based on her integrity and energy. She has gone to crazy lengths to research the book and verify facts. I had a chance to scan the advance copy of the book and it is a great read - information rich, insightful and very engaging.

Pakistaking, Thank God he was born in India. If he had born in Pak, I do not know what he would have become.

his real nam is dilip shekar he became MUzzie,because of some personal issues..... God is with everyone why will he go to porkistan....when india movie industry is 100 times bigger....also he is tamilian,he will fl totally out of place with urdu,punjabi porkis
