only waste... i think indian bolywoood industry has forgotten
by kapil barman on Aug 01, 2009 08:15 PM

only waste... i think indian bolywoood industry has forgotten how to be more expressive in the movie. Please wosoever is going to watch it notice that Saif and Deepkia tries to cry atleast 5 times but in none of the scenes they had tears in their eyes. Infact public in the hall was laughing instead of getting emotional. Complete Waste... I feel sorry for myself that i am writing even a comment on this movie.

Fantastic review
by A Ghosh on Aug 01, 2009 08:13 PM

Good review. Watched it. Should have been 3 out of 5 for the entertatinment value. The last sentence takes the cake "Or have I missed the point, and is Imtiaz making an incisive comment on the nature of Bollywood masala, saying be it today or yesterday, our romances stay as cheesy as they are breezy?"

Well said, I also plan to check out this movie b4 judging it. But one thing is for sure, I feel the responses to Raja sen's review seem more interesting , funny than the movie I guess... had great fun going through the audience brickbats on raja... Poor chap!

he deserves it. what a dumb review. someone just spent 50 crores and 2 years in making a beautiful film, and to sabotage it with millions of readers with such a review is a SIN... I just hope the managers at Rediff are taking notice.

Difficult to decide
by ranjith john on Aug 01, 2009 04:44 PM

It sounds weird but after watching LAK today I found it very difficult to make up my mind if this is a good or a bad film. Agreed it is not in league with Imtiaz's earlier works but its got its own moments. Couple of scenes look disjoint and also the song placement is stupid and inappropriate(although the tracks are supreb!!). I guess in the end one should see it for themselves and decide...also therez no other good movie playing now so give it a try...

Simpy Horrible
by Arvind Agarwal on Aug 01, 2009 04:40 PM

**1/2 is too good a star rating for this movie. It just deserves a single *. First of all, there is no script and songs are thrown in without any meaning. Saif has played similar roles earlier in Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, etc. Just ignore the movie. It plain meaningless 2hours criminal waste of time.
