Great review, I could not agree more. Someone seriously needs to ask Ms. Padukone to start thinking of a new career, say ramp modeling or badminton. The movie was such a let down I hate having wasted my weekend afternoon on it. The "aam aadmi = mangon people" joke was seriously past juvenile. Along the movie, I wanted them to tell me when I was supposed to laugh, cause all of the jokes escaped me and everyone else in the crowded movie hall. Saif was clearly OKAY, there was no chemistry that I could see between the two. Saif should seriously have cast Kareena or Rani in this movie with hopefully a better script writer. This movie could have had huge potential but alas, the key characters and absolutely lackluster performances let this one down big time.

good movie but u fanatical hindus will always criticise it but movie is highest history grosser already u cheap morons.
I have been reading Raja Sen revies since the last 5 years or so, I agree to 90% of his reviews, but in this case i beg to differ. Honestly i did not like JWM, but LAK is an exceptional movie. This movie is not about emotional blah blah, its about a magnificient method of story telling and hats of to Imtiaz, you excel at this. Saif and Deepika excel in their roles. I rarely love Hindi movies, perhaps one movie year, 2009 belong to Love Aaj Kal, dont go on the reviews or comments, Just watch it once and feel what love is all about, Saif you hit the target on the spot, great production too. I will watch it once again too, but when i really miss someone i love, yes that is what the movie is all about, Cheers, Saif and Imtiaz

i saw this movie,and believe me this movie sucks and full confusion..same old story with few twists..deepika acting skills good..and saif he has played this kind of role many times bfore..so plz avoid seeing this boorring movie..

yaar the muvi is not tht bad ...its worth a watch...the story telling is not the obvious kind ..but its different...ya the one thing i wud change is the subtitles that come below ..of the months n time periods should be with a typing noise or else it becomes very confusing for the viewer!!
