I went with my family and walked out of the film after the first 45 minutes quite embarassed and also disgusted. I like Akshay Kumar and so does my 10 year old daughter, but he should not have allowed so much vulgarity in the film. This movie definitely is not for family viewing.

Akki is small time actor who has delivered few hits (& many flops) in the recent times. Most of them are comedies with many fine actors like paresh rawal. Don't compare him with SRK who is only next to Great Bachhan. Now if Akki does a bad movie what's SRKs fault in it. don't blame SRK for akki's failure.. this is ridiculous........Khisiyani billi khambha noche.....

You don't get it, do you? Dekho, considering the publicity and the star actors of Askahay and Kareena, of course, the movie is going to open big. And despite bad reviews, it may be a huge hit. But how low can these producers and directors go to make a quick buck...of course movies are out to make money, but it seems like movies are throwing out art for sleaze. And remember when a hero really meant a hero, someone we can look up to, with good morals, etc. Now it seems the hero is a guy who goes around sleeping around and farting on people's faces. I understand you must be a Akshay fan, but when you support your favorite star absolutely blindly, he'll be encouraged to produce more garbage, and the movie fans loses out in the end.
Raja Sen is a fool. Guys go watch this movie, it will be fun...akki really did a good joib and bebo gave her best shots...Please Mr.Sen stop giving bad reviews to increase TRP of ur site ;-)

Even today I got a house full for this film. So I think either we all people who are going to watch this film are fools, or vice-versa, you know what I mean Raja ;-)
Kambakkht Ishq is doing extraordinary business all over. The film started phenomenal in the North and excellent elsewhere but by afternoon and late afternoon shows the film is recording extraordinary collections practically all over the country.
The media reviews are negative on the film but the paying public seems to be giving it the thumbs up though Monday collections will give better idea of public response. The film has been running for a few shows as yet but at looking at the huge release and the collections so far the film looks set to cross the 25 and 26 crore nett weekend collections of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Singh Is Kinng respectively.
The record Friday to Sunday collections including paid previews of Ghajini were 32 crore nett and this target may be tougher to reach.

Believe it or not, a KAMBAKKHT ISHQ mania has swept across the nation. The film has opened to an overwhelming response and at the end of Day 1, it was clear that the film would surpass the opening weekend business of SINGH IS KINNG and at places, would be at par with GHAJINI, especially in North India. In fact, the film could well turn out to be Akshay's biggest opener so far. While the industry response is mixed [like always… what's new about it?], the audience feedback is very positive.
