for everybody's info, "My Name Is Khan" is now releasing in Feb 2010, not in Dec 2009. (u can refer dharma production)
Certainly it dosent have a pathbreaking story but who wants that, certainly 8X10 was one of the greatest film made by bollywood but was whacked from all corners. KI takes bollywood to next level in terms of grandeur, Good performances by Akshay and Kareena, It is certainly paisa vasool and hardcore indians will love it not pseudo Indians.
Hi! Just read the story and it is a total copy of a tamil movie starring Kamal hassan and Simran (Abbas and Sneha as second leads). (Brahmachari in Telugu). The original is totally hilarious with the actors' excellent comic timing and super word play but I guess its all changed here... But it is A RIP OFF!!
This movie deserves an award for "The Worst Movie of the Decade" Category. The director thinks that Indian audience are crass. An absolute mindless crap, chauvinistic, idiotic movie.
this movie is an insult to bollywood and its millions of viewers.. and also shows our movies and skills in poor light abroad... movie makers are taking our viewers for granted .. multiplex owners were right when they complained about content...and KI justifies them... akshay should stop doing these cool dude roles as he's outgrown them even though he maybe fit..and dont suit him anymore.. this movie can't even be watched even if u leave ur brains home as akshay suggests... they should have just given the money to charity instead of blowing it up on such nonsense.. no body will even buy a pirated cd of this movie..
