Y people waste time on these kind of 'doggy' things by d way?? Tell them to get a life an learn English properly if they really wnt to know wht slumdog means!!
These jokers have nothing to do with human rights and blah blah...its justa publicity stunt..but this is just a waste of time...people have become more sensible they ignore these types of indian jokers.
Just another wannabe trying to become famous. Even if we accept his view point that the movie title is offensive, how can a music director or an actor be held responsible for a movie title ? That shows his actual intentions. He wouldn't have got the same media coverage if he had filed a defamation case against Danny Boyle. So, either he is a wannabe seeking media attention a or a fool who doesn't understand the difference between a director and music composer. So the lesser said about him, the better
U dare touch our southern priceless golden jewel ARR you touch us first. Is this the price you give for a talent who brought Golden Globe and probably Oscar to India. Shame on you Vishwakarma. There are plenty of ways to earn money or publicity. Jump down a famous river or well and your name and maybe your picture would be published but the pity is you wil not be there to see it.
Instead of jumping to conclusions and questioning his motives, we need to hear him and understand why he has decided to lodge a case for the reason. I think it would be a safe to assume that most of us reading / posting on this forum can’t feel like he does – simply because of the fact that we may not associate ourselves to a slum. Let us say that he does associate himself to be from a slum, just like we associate ourselves to be a tamil, telugu, kanada, mumbaikar, Punjabi, Bengali, black, white, Russian, afghan, European etc etc. is it not possible to be offended when u see ‘slum-dog’ used freely without restriction? Would we not be offended to see movie titles like ‘black-dog president’, ‘tamil-dog businessman’, ‘mumbai-dog actor’, ‘European-dog billionaire’, ‘australian-monkey sportsman’ etc etc?? I am not saying that the person(s) who decided to give that movie its title meant for it to be hurtful… I am just saying that it may have offended that person who has filed that law-suite. He may have other motives but unless we are sure of that, we need to exercise restrain…

The term if converted to Hindi may seem rude, but in english it is just an expression of the living standard of people in slums.

But how does suing the music director or an actor of a movie make any sense. I think it is the Director and producer who are answerable to such things.
