Re: Why Rahman sounds good in Hindi?

and in continuation to above message, for heaven sake he stops composing for Rajini movies. Do you want to hear Rahman's worst compositions, then listen to those that he composed for Rajini (barring Muthu)! Probably after Muthu he knew that Rajini's movies dont require quality songs to make a hit and never paid so much attention while creating them. So I think now its high time for him to take this touch decision that HE WILL NEVER COMPOSE FOR RAJINI AND SO NOT TO WASTE HIS ENERGY

Thambi Padayappa & Sivaji was also exceptional tracks. Why blame AR if Rajni fans expect the typical monotonous tracks. Other than AR nobody was dared to try anything new on Rajni. When Rajni himself is in full praise for his music dont know why you still have to crib

A R Rahman connection
by varun on Jan 21, 2009 06:46 PM

first it was dilli 6 and then i just heard the songs of rahman's new album connections and it made me forget dilli 6 which i thought would never happen 2 days back, but that's rahman. What a genius this guy is, he is a freak, i hope he promotes his personal albums well becoz it has a lot of potential and may win major international music awards. This is rahman of vademataram, free of inhibitions and does'nt have to please anyone and the music is connections is straight from his heart and that's when he is at his best. Having said that dilli 6 is also a great album and it's real impact will depend on the movie. Remember RDB, when the music released people wrote it off but after the movie released rdb went on to be a musical score to cherish. I hope the same happens with dilli 6.
