Even SPB was a fan of Ashwath. In many occassions during "Ede Tumbi Haaduvenu" program SP Balasubramanyam used to say no one can copy his voice, which is so elegant and only Ashwath can give justice to the Songs written by well known Kannada Poet's. Ashwath's remarkable achivements comes when he transposed Santa Shishunala Sheriff's Songs to entire world.

thats right. BUT I would just want to make a correction here. Think you have mixed up names here. It is C Ashwath, the famous singer who died and not KS Ashwath, the acting stalwart veteran who is still alive!
