Mr Ashwath was the most respected singer of kannada industry & its a very big loss to this industry. He has helped many local singers to come up in their life. We all will sincerely pray for his peaceful soul.
That is how I would like to describe the voice of Mr. C Ashwath, a gifted singer and a true ambassador of Kannada folk music.
I have grown up listening to his songs like Kodagana koli nungitta, Uluva yogiya nodalli, etc. and who would forget his excellent music composition for the movie Mysore mallige.
