Why does anyone and everyone has to look at ulterior motives into every sentence? To me, it sounded like a straightforward sentence stating that he wanted to make a movie about a common man on the street and not a bubblegum movie. I don't see any communalist streak in a simple statement.
Q: Why was it necessary for Ranbir's character to be a sardar?
This question is a communal question, why dont they ask what was the need for a protagonist to be a muslim or a christian, why so much hatred against Sardars. Rediff, pls get rid of your communal journos.
