In every film there is Punjabi songs, punjabi dialouge, punjabi culture... India has varied culture and Bollywood must represent that
I am not a hatered towards punjabi..., but too much of anything is good for nothing. In the initial trend punjabi songs were gud enough, but now a days it lacks charm

I am myself a Sikh and would request some crazy people not to make anything communal out of this. Always remember we all are Indians at first place...Please do not try to divide communally the beautiful and great country like INDIA.I do not understand where there is communal angle in the film. There is no question of India in this, this is a question of one's self-respect and by the way i am not spreading any communal hatred, i am only protesting against a communal question put up by Patcy N and equally communal/derogatory answer given by Shimit Amin. I hv not said a word against any community, I just want Sikhs to get due respect like other citizens of this country.

a little change goes a long way. maybe they should start offering money back fro all the crap movies they make.
they want to make intelligent cinema, laughable intelligent cinema is an oxymoron.
just because something is new or has never been done before, does not make the action intelligent...its usually brave to do something different and untested or its foolishly courageous.
Rocket Singh and Aeroplane Kaur will obviously fade into the the realms of time.

The name Rocket Singh itself is abusive and derogatory towards the Sikh community, I am surprised why sikhs are not protesting against this movie.

Punjabis in general keep silly nicknames like Chunnu, Munnu, Monty, and so forth. It's pretty normal. I can't see how that is offensive.
Though I am not sure about Aeroplane Kaur. I think this dude is making that up :P
