Given a choice, I wouldn't vote for either of these. I would always like to remember a young Amitabh from films like 'Deewar', 'Majboor', 'Don' and 'The Great Gambler, where he looked smart, dashing and strikingly handsome with his lustrous mane and those unique side-locks and designer suits that made a complete style statement. That was the time when he looked every inch a star as he possessed arguably the most well-rounded personality.

Right! Its time that Amitabh retires gracefully. I am sure he still has some respect left inspite of all the recent flops. Jaya too had suggested indirectly tha same.

I appreciate you are a big fan, but dont be a crazy stupid fan. Have the courage to accept the reality. If his acting is good, praise it and if his acting is not good, even if you cannot critice it, atleast dont praise it.
Big B after 40 years still rules ,dictates terms comparing him with SRK is most ridiculous thing SRK can't act when he started his career till now he is same. Acts only with his so called freinds movies ,never tried different when once or twice he tried he failed check out whats was the result of paheli and ashoka. KBC failed when he hosted.even can't handled 5 pass, in front of children spoke double meaning words, smokes in front of his own children , his team losing where he is busy in flying kisses bcz he already earned money no interest in game .Disrespect his elders recent example is Gavaskar,Manoj kumar so on . Did u ever heard Big B doing such things never thats his personality and thats why he gets respect from his elders from movie industry. Even Youngsters who understand cinema acting dies to work with him ,he is God of Indian cinema ,but never called I am so. where SRK himself calls him badshah His acting skill was clear in Rab Ne where AAmir outcasted him totally. If any one want to Compare Big B than compare him with actors like Naseer , Sanjiv Kumar like that. And compare SRK with AAmir , Salman ,Akshay so on. In each movie Big B changed his look even if he kept his beard but still changed look to justify Character , how many time SRK did. Can u imagine the presence of Sarkar if SRK in it.But Big B in his time did all love stories. And still at the age of 65 he is doing such demanding roles thats mark of actor.Why srk never does movies with debutantes .

this is bogous.....amitabh is amitabh and SRK is SRK.....there is no need for criticizing SRK to show how big amitabh is.....SRK is the new genre amitabh and he has proved it many a times...so shu!.....Amir is more sensible and salman is more human....saif is more romantic....akshay is the khiladi.....dilip kumar is the ultimate....dharmendra is the most handsome...kudos to all and every one has their share of pie.....everyone has proved their caliber.

While the comparison is not fair, it all started with SRKs comments on karan johar's show that "he wanted to be the all time great and felt he was then (the all time great)".... Some poor but hit fims largely b'coz of NRI market is what he can boast after 15-20 yrs of cinema... Look, its like this - sehwag scored 195 at Melbourne against Aussies and he announced in the press conference that he believed he was the best..... down went his career and it took him 3 long years to come in form..... All this while 10 years before and 10 yrs after his knock Sachin hasnt opened his mouth BUT his bat has done all the talking.... In short greatness lies in talent as well as modesty.. U got it Amitabh = Sachin = Best of the best Shahrukh = Sehwag = Also Ran

hmmmmmmm............. I could not find last hit film of Amitabh. Can you help me. People here just blindly go ga ga over Amitabh. He was total flop during late 80s and 90s. Still people think he has ruled for 40 years lolz. His 1st hit after nearly 2 decades was Mohabbatein also staring SRK. SRK is the only king of Bollywood.

There are many actors who are better than Bachchan like Naseeruddin and Pankaj Kapoor but what Bachchan has is abundance is the X factor, the charisma. There is no actor in atleast Indian cinema, that includes South Indian cinema who can match the charisma of Bachchan. Thank You Sir. Watching your movies particularly the 70s and 80s ones gives us immense pleasure and happiness.
1) coolie (the way he carries the simple coolie dress is incredible) 2) Don 3) Deewar 4) Agnipath (who can forget his intro seen with Danny all white in white coming down the steps) 5) Silsila (Rang Barse attire)
Don't forget he was rejected by all those heroines during his debut. This shows he has no looks at all. Later may be he has developed a bit of personality. But his only stiking point is his voice. Else he his nothing. On the other hand lokk at all those Khans. King Khan(Sharukh) has one of the best looks,personality etc. etc. So he is worshipped like God all over the world by all people. His screen presence is un-matchable. His acting talent is the best after Dilip saheb which Dilip sir has admitted himself after Devdass. So compared to Sharukh, Amitabh is nothing. just a zero.

Amitabh applied for a job in All India Radio, but because of his voice he was rejected. Only after he became famous, his voice got acceptance.

Sharukh's Don was far better in all aspect then Amitabh. It seems u r a die hard fan of Amit. Hence talking blindly. Else there is no comparison with Sharukh. He is the No.1. Also don't forget Amit ruled with the help of his co-stars,Directors,Singers,Heroins,villains who all were brilliant during his era. But Sharukh has single handedly climbed to the top spot. All credit to Sharukh who is the Emperor of Indian Cinema, only next to the great Rajanikanth.

Can u please name one of SRK movie that u would like the world to see and wud feel proud. I guess none even SRK himself would not be able to pick any. 10 years down the line he will think what kind of movies i have done. I would put him in the category of Govinda...box office hit doesnt mean u r a gr8 actor, if u go by that even givinda, dada kondke has give many hit movies. so pls think twice b4 comparing Big B and SRK. SRK is no where near.

There is only one King ACE whatever u call that is big B . Dilip kumar himself admitted that Big b acted bettr in shakti .it clears any doubt. and comparing a legend Big B who ruled cinema from last 40 yeasr and still going on is nonsense. Compare SRK with AAmir. Big B is Sarkar. and why so many comparisons where question is about Big B best looks. in that case also he outcast SRK.Forget acting in which Big B is legend and Srk can never act.
