Both Mohd Rafi and Kishore Kumar were legends in their own right . Mohd Rafi was number One from 1949 to 1969 and Kishore Kumar from 1969 (Aradhana) to 1987 . Ironically Both were numero for approximately twenty years . Listening to Kishore Kumar songs brings in Freshness to everybody faces .
Today Lataji And Ashaji will be remembering him of the momemnts of 40 years they sang with him . He gave some memorable songs .
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY "

Kishore was a versatile genious, I doubt, if India can ever produce any one who can atleast come close to him.
He was, he is and he will, be, always there, close to the heart of India, today, tomorrow and forever.

Kishore Kumar is a Legend.
by Rahul Singh on Aug 04, 2009 10:26 AM

Kishore, Rafi, Mukesh are legendary figures of Indian cinema music from 1940s to perhaps 1980s. Their memorable songs are still live to our ears.

Friends tune in to Farishta Channel at World Space daily and enjoy their songs. You will glide into the golden past. I only wish if they could have lived so long to entertain us with their melodious songs.
