watched this movie in PVR last friday.. it was one heartening experience. nothing can better this movie.it totally worth the five stars.I can say its the most realistic movie that i have seen ever. forget he protagonist(umashree,awarded the best indian actress) every single actor in the movie has acted very well. wonder how kasarvalli selects them. Story narration is gripping and with a touch of humour as well. It was over whelming to see a full house as well. proud to have a director like kasarvalli..!!

Mr Bhagath Singh can u plz explain what u have done to this country.....if a person enteres ur house and start abusing will u keep quiet saying he is our country men....my dear first we should repect our county then state and then family and cant u see how they are abusing kannada movies, what u have kept in ur eyes....and moreover i need not learn abt loving my counrty.

my fellow countryman wonder what u have kept in ur eyes. i have mentioned it applies to all the abusers. i understand ur anger. but y do u want things to continue? cant u b d change? as far as my contribution to our country is concernd., i don like 2 blow my own trumpet n m doin it in d hope of seein a positive change in u i sponsor 15 positive children witout kowin der lang, caste creed etc. and m doin this an an anonymous... even the kids dont know whoz takin care of them. they meet me on my b'days thinkin just another person whoz come 2 take them out for lunch n fun. if u stil don wana love ur country its up2 u :-)
Kannada seeing good movies in recent times... I saw mungaru mazhle also.... Maybe Kollywood should stop experimenting too much with movies like Dasa. and start doing movies like these..
Very realistic and well deserved review. I am very happy and proud to say Girsih Kasaravalli is one of legendary director in our kannada film industry. His four films got president golden-lotus awards, which is second most by any indian film director after Sathyajith Ray. Well done Girish sir.. and I wanted umashree to act in this kind of movie atleast once. She is very talented actress but her talent is under utilized by kannada film directors.
I thought its almost dead! the crap remakes they make and also the original movies glorifying violence are for slum dwellers!pretty amused to see a 5 star kannada movie..!may be one has tow ait another 25 years to get the next one!

if u think rediff is the no:1 website in this universe in reviewing movies then u must be a fool.. This is the same rediff which gave 4 stars for movies like OSO . There were 2 reviews for singh is kingh, one with 2 star and other with 4 stars .. So better dont think as if u ppl are very intelligent in making movies and watch and make only classic movies
