Uma shree has not got her due at all. She's the best actor in the world today. But she's old now. Wonder how India does not know this gem of a woman. Earlier Bhavana had that mettle. No award can aim to think of giving complete due to this lady, because she's totally reached the zenith of acting abilities.
I watch and enjoy movies from all over the world..Compared to Hindhi,Malayalam, Tamil and telugu films 99% of kannada films are absolute crap..just because u don't show any improvement people ignore kannada films in other states..In kerala Tamil and telugu movies get a great response..In andhra Tamil movies do very well..in tamil nadu malayalam and telugu movies are getting released simultanously and do very well..all the stars like Mamooty, mohanlal, prithviraj, naren, Chiru, nag, pawan, NTr, mahesh babu, Raviteja,Rajnikanth, Kamalhassan,Vijay, Ajith, vikram,Soorya,Vishal have a great fan following throughout south india including karnataka.But has any one heard of A Shivraj ,puneeth, Darshan, Sudeep, rest of the gang getting even a single theatre release in kerala or tamilnadu ..may be very few movies get released in andhra...when this is the truth how can u call a person who gives his opinion after watching a kannada movie racist?

Yes you are right. But I think you don't know the fact that most of the peoples you mentioned (meanse peoples of kerala, Tamil, Telgu) stay in Karnataka because they won't get good oppertunities in there states. Its different with Kannada peoples we get good oppertunity in Karnataka only then why should we want to go to outside states, so because of this reason our acters are not having publicity in other states why should we think publicity of our acters in other states. Its proud for us that our state (Kar) provides most of the job oppertunity in South states. Mind it. My intention is not to hurt the other state peoples. Kannadakke jayavaagli.

well,if u look at the number of prestigious awards kannada films won,tamil/telugu are way behind! just commericial success does not put u out of mediocre!maadesha is no worse than sivaji which is the biggest block buster! abt dasavatharam,less said is better!

well said Sanjay...people who says Sivaji is the best movie dont have any qualification to judge movies...that is the bottom most somebody can go...
superb movies like Evano Oruvan didnt work there but Sivaji worked...do these fools have any right to comment on others?

there is only one problem in any industry , even though the movie has been rated 5 stars will it make a good run ... commercial success is really doubtful for any artistic films in any movie industry ...
