Simply Awesome! Give Naseer all the awards for his performance.
by G on Sep 25, 2008 10:47 AM

We do have a few movie-makers in our industry who can think beyond masala movies.

A well-made movie except occasional camerawork where they fast-forward scenes where cops are walking or running...that's so amateurish and irritating.

Naseeruddin Shah, as usual with his A performance.

A must watch..
by brajesh sinha on Sep 23, 2008 05:48 PM  | Hide replies

Guys Guys Guys.. borrow, steal or do whatever you can, but do watch this movie.. this is one of the finest movies I have seen after RDB. it is such a masterpiece that there are no words to describe the movie.. its so gripping right from the beginning till the end. Just listen to the conversation between Anupam Kher and Nasiruddin shah in the end, you will realize how much research the story-writer has done before making this movie.. Every moment of the movie keeps you on the edge.
Eagerly waiting for the next from this director..

RDB? One of the finest movies? Please explain what was it in Rang De Basanti to desreve that kind of praise... I found it quite ordinary. Though I love Amir's performances, the idea of the movie...the theme... was quite juvenile (protagonists taking law in their own hands and sacrifiing their own lives in the course of the story). Can you discuss the issue like a grown up? I am not interested in mindless brickbats that are so common in such interactions.

ordinary? RDB was a good film with a unique concept...I mean compare it to all the other crap bollywood comes out with. The story was good, the direction was good. Yes the climax was a little over the top but the deep message that the film set out to give out was load and clear. In order for people and society to change and stand up for there rights, something tragic has to happen in a personal level for them to understand and care.

A WEDNESDAY WONDERFUL MOVIE
by prem vijla on Sep 22, 2008 01:38 PM

Actually after a long time we have seen such a excellent, wonderful movie, the acting of both Mr.Shah and Mr.Kher was wonderful. Movies like OM SHANTI OM, SING IS KING ETC....should not be made as it just TIME WASTE and MONEY WASTE. Bollywood should make movies like A Wednesday, Rock on, Mumbai Meri Jaan, The last Lear, A Life in Metro ETC.... Indians are now bored watching YASH RAJ banner movies (I mean Love story movie) Please do not torture us showing us such type of love story movies.

last year it was OM SHANTI OM, and this year it was SING IS KING, which were discourging me to watch hindi movies, it was like someone attempting rape with an art, so called movies. But at last the movies like MUMBAI MERI JAAN, ROCK ON and this masterpiece A WEDNESDAY. has made a favour on us, and raised the hope of good cinemas..
