I have seen worst than this one. I saw Chandramukhi for the first time on TV yesterday, god!!! i am told jyothika won the best actress award for that, that is outright hilarious. I think even i can win a best actor some day.
Is Deepa Mehta a director, who disobeyed Mr Bachchan. Is She a director, who makes films om exploitations? Is she a director, who said Big B can not be considered for a Canadian film( which she is making) bcoz Canadian Passport holders are allowed. When Film culture is within Passport ideas still, how one makes films on racism, culture, exploitation? Does TV and Film institutes caregory accept Deepa Mehta's view on Big B. ANswer Pls.
Deepa Mehta can not nake film other than prejudice, exploitations etc. She can not make film other than punjabi culture. As a director, her accomplishment is very limited. Then guess how Preity can be a finest actress, Anyway, Preity deserves acknowledgement for her boldness. However, seeing her earlier films I am not sure if she can carry performance on basis of her own. That is tough job for priety indeed.

you are right, deepa mehta has no local standi to make films on racism. She herself makes only punjabi films and even boasts about being punjabis
