The same news has been published in many websites in SAMACHAR and other south indian websites too. They have elicited very decent comments with no malace.i am arre visitor to rediffmail.com, but is saddened to see that people use this forum to settle personal scores and deviate from the topic.if the news item is irrelevant to anyone, one can easily keep away from writing on it.oclose analysis, we can see the same psedonyms commenting on each other. The press is always outside the gates of cine stars as a watchdog to see who visits whom and give juicy gossips andthey are paid for that. If they fail to churn out the required material they are fired. But you and me have many other things to do.why are we fighting with each other in this forum.Unnecessarily drawing other actors into question, how Big b looked when he got admitted, why he did not look sickly, was he feigning sickness,a paki in between, really we make greater news than the press itself

Yes, very true. it seems people now read articles just to put some comments here.. as if they do have enough time to fight on the article which is irrelevant to them.
Consider the following: 1. Srivastav Sr. (a.k.a. Amitabh Bachchan) despite reportedly being in a lot of pain walked upto the ambulance & from it to the hospital. Why was he not in a wheelchair/ stretcher while getting in & out of the ambulance? 2. Srivastav Sr. has about 30 cars in his stable. Lilavati & Nanavati hospitals are within a stone's throw from his residence. Why did he not get driven by one of his chauffeurs or by his son, Abhishek, to the hospital instead of riding in an ambulance? 3. A person experiencing severe abdominal pain would be doubled up in pain with his face contorted. Yet in the photograph Srivastav Sr. is shown standing erect & holding his son's & daughter's hands. Doesn't this strike you as quite theatrical? 4. In case of severe abdominal pains & cramps, one would always prefer to wear loose-fitting & minimal clothing for comfort. Srivastav Sr. is seen wearing a tight fitting new, shiny skullcap & a fairly new voluminous nightgown. Does this look like a man who is in severe pain or a scene from his movie "Black"? This incident happened on the day of his birthday when his entire 'khandaan' together with his adopted 'brother' Amar Singh all happened to be present and the media was out in full force. Doesn't this strike you as too much of a coincidence & rather odd? 5. Bowel dysfunction is a general term & the rest of the world treats it by having medicines OTC or prescribed by the doctor. Srivastav Sr. chooses to go to the hospital. Need one say more?

Am not in the least interested in fanning the hatred (bordering on obsession) for AB, that some of you have but for once Let me try & reason... 1.He was taken in a stretcher on his first trip to Nanavati( Not his regular hospital) but when it was decided that he will indeed need to go to Leelavati, and that the media had already had a huge presence there gamely tried to walk in order to not to create a scene. 2.Nanvati is a stone's throw away. Leelavati, his regular hosp is not.It is about 30 min away. 3.Answered in 1. 4. Too frivolous to respond. 5.So now by association, you are saying that Leelavati is holding AB in there agist medical ethics?

Only the person wearing the shoe, knows the shoe is biting. He has been suffering with sever abdominal injuries since long and so a small (may be abodminal dysfunction) abdominal problem needs to be attended seriously. Only after the diagnosis, doctors were able to tell that it was only abdominal dysfunction. They have money and they are spending on their health / welfare. We need not to be zealous and show our class by commenting on a greiving oldman. Abdominal pains are not like it will continue for ever so that people like you will accept that he really had pain. In first treatment at Nanavati itself, the doctors might have given him painkillers and referred to Lilavati (his regular hospital with his medical history) for further investigation. Thats simple.
Agreed that he is the BIG B, but dunno how serious a bowel dysfunction can be to hog the headlines. If there are any docs in the board, please let us know if it is really a very serious problem.

Its Amitabh Bachchan. Doesn't matter. Even a mosquito bite in a shooting can make headlines. Azhar, people like you with cricket scandal will not understand this.
