I see here many Keralites turning a blind eye to the facts and just supporting Kurukshetra because its a Mohanlal film.
My honest opinion is "Kurukshetra" is avoidable......the only thing good is the cinematography....there is too much focus on backstory of each minor character that I failed to sympathetise well with anyone....focus on the actual war was minimal....the war scenes were poorly done....no thought process in them.....To the supporters of Kurukshetra, I would sugggest seeing the Hindi movie "Tango Charlie".....not too much infrastructure there, but the whole battle was well thought out and intelligent.....each and every battle scene was "intelligently" done......thats were Kurukshetra failed......just gun-shots here and there, nobody knows who is shooting where, but one or the other Indians dies nonetheless....Not to mention the part where they used the scene from BEHIND ENEMY LINES....mind u it was not a remake, it was the actual shot from the Hollywood movie....wonder why there r no copyright problems......(not acknowledged too)

First of all I did'nt see the movie. But saw other movies made by Mr. Major Ravi. First one was OK and after that his graph is coming down. I don't understand, why he is always dealing in one subject? Perhaps it shows his limitations as a Director!!!!

No this is a good review!!! Lal has lost his touch. And Ravi not up to the mark...Bakwas movie
i saw the movie yesterday ...i felt this review is really not fully reliable.... i think this reporter is a fully biased one which should not be the case for this profession.
Mohanlal has been a total disgrace in last 7 or 8 years and has reversed whatever respect he ahd earned during the 80s and 90s. SRK does better movies like CHak De and Sades..while MOhanlal has become the exact opposite doing shit masala films with heroines the age of his daughter..waiting for the whistles of audience...shameful!!!!
Re: SRK is thousand times better than the oldie Mohanlal of last 7 years

You are really sick for comparing Mohanlal and SRK. Can you compare the performance of SRK in one movie and say why SRK is better than the great acor Lal.
though the movie disappoints we should say that Major Ravi had shown the courage to make amovie based on Kargil war.... But It would have been made more impressive
Mr.P.C.P, you are the most worst criitic of recent times. They say , critic is a failed artist. I can't even put your name into the critics class since you don't have any kind of quality a critic should possess. You biased writer, your crap can't do any harm to the wonderful war movie called Kurukshetra, the super hit of recent times. Shame on you for your nonsensical review.
No sequel movie will come out as good as it's predecessor.Same is for ''Kurukshetra'' also.Major Ravi can make military movies only and Keerthichakra was an exceptional one and gave a new experience to audience because it was made by a true army man.But everytime the same things repeats audience will be disappointed.
