Aadesh Shrivastav
by jv on Aug 01, 2008 12:28 PM

Most the people of music industry who came in touch with Ishmeet expressed grief over his death. But Aadesh shrivatav has not uttered a word. This heartless guy is still keeping his grudge against innocent and unfortunate boy Ishmeet.
Aadesh you are pathetic.

Ishmeet was a great soul
by jv on Aug 01, 2008 12:26 PM

Ishmeet was a great soul and a man of determination. He won Voice of India inspite of stiff opposition from the rude judges.
I dont know why this tragedy happened with a gem like Ishmeet.

Ishmeet was like a younger brother
by jv on Aug 01, 2008 12:23 PM

started watching Voice of India only because of Ishmeet, infact my interest developed in such reality shows because of him. His simplicity and humility influenced me greatly. I dont know whether we will be able to see any other contestant like Ishmeet in future.

As Amit Sana remarked "there was an aura around him". The word aura is used generally for saints.
Ishmeet was special.
As one news channel concluded that there will be many more "Voice of India" but no one will be like Ishmeet.

I hope the controversy surrounding his death gets resolved soon so that his soul may rest in peace.

Really Shocking News
by Pradipta Sengupta on Aug 01, 2008 12:09 PM

After watching him week after week in the television channel during "Voice of India" and "Jo Jeeta wohi Superstar" thereafter, i felt as if he was a part of my family. It feels like as if I have lost my own brother. I am more than 15 years elder to him and never thought that I have to write lines on his memory.

Ishmeet was not only a talented singer but also a soft person with a golden heart.

An unconsolable lifetime shock to his parents.

May his soul rest in peace

What is Going On?
by anita r on Jul 31, 2008 11:29 PM  | Hide replies

The Hindi television channels are going berserk over Ishmeet's tragic death. They keep showing his clips from the TV shows and repeating what a great singer he was. I do not understand. The poor guy had not sung even a single song that was his own, he sang songs of other established singers as is the norm on Talent shows. It is shameless the way TV channels are exploiting his grieving family at such a time merely to serve some stupid populist agenda.
All this tamasha over the death of a minor celebrity, I dare not even imagine the scenario on the death of a major celebrity.
The ridiculous culture of celebrity worship and fetishization is upon us and we are to blame for this mess.

Absolutely. He had no business getting into the pool if he did not know swimming. If the consequence of an ill fated decision is death then it has arrived on invitation. There are many more deserving causes to spend the public money on and this person does not and no one of his ilk will ever deserve a public funeral paid out of the tax payer's money and not from the pockets of our corrupt politicos. All the idiots who paid Rs6 per minute to the cell phone companies to `vote` for his `victory' have no business justifying a public funeral paid out of money paid by the vast majority of others who were not part of this idiocy.
