What makes Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat unbearable is not the fact that the creators tried to revamp the legend with a contemporary look but by the mere fact of Draupadi's rather shrieking performance. Doldrums perhaps will be the right word, she lacks the intensity, her dialogue delivery was terrible and if you ask me, she needs to seriously think about switching her profession. It's a pain for the viewers and I am sure it was a pain for her voice box. The other trough would be the dialogues, the quality of which not only displays the ineptness of the writer but also that the creators totally missed to understand the class of our characters. I was looking forward to the Mahabharat but after last night I will gladly pass over 9x.

draupadi is wearing sexy sleaveles sari with all body parts exposed. no wonder they(KAURAVAS) decided for cheerharan. this is terrible.
I heard Om......is playing Karna....... haa haa haa haa haa....... and Kunti as Parvati.......bigger Haa haa haa... I am waiting for the Baa.......it will be interesting to see what roal she will be playing........
I saw the first episode of Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat yesterday and shocked!.Frankly it looked like she is making her normal Sas bahu serial.It was not evoking any emotion whatsoever.I got an impression that All charachers were standing in a big maidan and looked like drama actors.Only god can save 9x channel now which is airing her serial.Compare to 9x channel, NDTV imagine is turning out to be quite smart and showing a mix of drama, action, thriller and devotional serials, hats off to them!.They have not commissioned a single serial of Ekta Kapoor even though Mr Sameer nair gave first break to Ekta Kapoor when he was in Star Plus. He knows what type of serial to show and at what time!.Mr Pranay Roy is laughing all the way to the bank.

u r correct.ekta's 'kahani...hamare mahabarat ki....' is spoiling the mythological values of Hindus. she should stop its telecasting. She is already making such nonsense serials that r far far away from true or day today life. In sas..bahu.., tulsi got multi husbands. worst then dropti. same things happend in kahani ghjar ghar ki...........kamal got multi wives. om got multi wives. pallavi got likewise. Is it the Khani Ghar-Ghar ki in our India? anyway, all her serials are Big Boring.

God save us from commercialisation even the religious books will now only become a money earners for rich.... kunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi and all.... she will make it a solid soap opera of mahabharat with a twist!
Yes i am looking forward to see the revised version of Epic , but it's not like that i am watching it because its' a part of Balaji camp infact i hate K- serials and Ekta , i have never seen anything like mahabharat so that has been the driving force so lets see what balaji can add to that Epic. as per the trailors costumes, armoury looks great .. but i dont want to see camera rolling over on every face again n again ..and yes there cannot be anybody who can perform better then Mukesh khanna as Bhishma apart from Big-B himself , and yes of course Nitish Bhardwaj as Lord Krishna , Arjun, Karan, Duryodhan.. they were akll great and played like they were born to prform that particular roles, lets see Ekta can create that magic again which i dont think so...
