Sukanya I guess its time to post your resume on Naukri.com!!!!!

If you think "Sunday" is even rateable. I think Rediff doesnt have Performance upraisal's, or may be they dont take it seriously. But whatever the company policy is, why should we feel the heat? You know films have deep impact on our culture and vice-versa (art immitate...) agar aap aisi filmo ko badhava dengi toh aur banengi. please dont be afraid of what u want to express. cause thats what we want to read "TRUTH". I may sound little harsh but this is the first and last time I am going to write about u. rest is upto u.

Excellent dialogue and good message
by farhad on Jan 31, 2008 07:21 PM

Never buy a drink from a stranger, and this film has one of the best dialogues, which every comedy these days have foreign jokes with foreign language talk than hindi. Arshad Wasi steals the show. Although My fave is Akki, but I seriously hated Welcome, why do people always ignore those type movies and watch welcome and OSO which has not message and dumb jokes and dialogue, this one is based on hindi culture, than westernise Welcome.

Dude,
Raja Sen has not even written the review for Sunday... it is Sukanya Verma...
So, just get the irrational & nerve-wracking hate for Raja out of our system...
If you like to criticise him, why don't you take his job, & try your hand at it? You will not even survive 5 weeks...
You have no guts...

It seems Raja and Suknya are bro and sis. They will rate 4 star to OSO and Sawriyaa, But they can not permit Other movies to have more than three stars. I want some body, who is logical and knows how to review it.

No where near to original telugu movie
by Redif is great on Jan 28, 2008 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

this movie SUNDAY is a cheap remake of telugu hit movie anukokunda oka roju .. seems like bollywood writers don't have any original stories anymore ..
just copying regional thrillers and adding some non-sense comedy in it ..

Review !!!

Yes ........ what will happen if one day goes missing from your life. And if thats sunday then you have to think for sure ........... well the catch line wasn't that catchy but still i woke up and got the ticket for this movie [:)]
And after watching this i bet my money didn't go waste. I Stuck to my basic theory before watching any bollywood comedy flick "Keep your mind a bit out". Didn't have a good experience with the last few movies like "Dhol" and "welcome climax" etc .
Still this movie provides you the laughs. The movie tried to be a thriller but couldn't do that whereas it was a nice watch as comedy.
There are few comedies in bollywood which give out some sense though they are non-sense. This was one of them but still kept me engaged. And for those who have some near one in police its a more nice watch showing the funny part in the form of corruption.
Ayesha takia manages to look good. Arshad warsi shines as usual with ajay devgan doing good on his part as well. The only character which couldn't be utilised to the fullest is Irfan Khan who just manages to get a eye catcher for the role.
I would say that one can go and watch this and enjoy also. Don't look for that much logic and thrill but ask for comedy and the movie won't disappoint you.

From my side it gets 2 and half stars out of five.

Cheers !!!

Don't judge the film reading this stupid review. In the review its written 'Speaking of time, even at a mere two hours running time, Sunday feels longer than it actually is' I was not bored even for a single minute.. This is a nice film for all those who like Garam masala, Hera Pheri, Golmaal, Welcome etc type of movies.. If you want to see a class film then stay miles and miles away from Sunday because its just pure fun...

People are misguided
by Amir Khan on Jan 28, 2008 10:49 AM  | Hide replies

People are watching OSO instead of bhool bhulaiya or halla bol. Akshay & Ajay are the finest actors of industry and there movies are also the best one. But they go to theatres to watch sick movies like OSO. They watch the actor like SRK who have nothing to do with acting. I am a muslim but I will never admire an actor like SRK but appreciate AKKI and AJAY.
Muslims around the world should consider the best talent. If he belongs to our religion it doesn't mean he is the best. I feel sorry for these muslims

You are a bottom level moron for writing such religion-oriented shyte. OSO is much better than either Bhool Bhulaiya and Halla Bol. Ajay may be better at drama than SRK but sucks at comedy and romance. Akshay Kumar should not even be mentioned alongwith these two.

NOT TRUE at all

Akshay so deserves to be mentioned with srk, for ur iformation, akshay is th only actor to hav 4 hits in a year in a row!!
definetly ur comment was religion oriented, and obviously it shudnt hv been
but evry one has there opinion , but lets not diss any actors, becuz it might offend some people
