dear friend People do not "copy" novels into movies. But they do make novels as the base for their movies. So now do not say that Telugu movie was copied from a novel, instead say it was based on the novel. good day

Whatever .. say 'copied' or 'based on', at the end of the day there is still no originality.
To all the wouldbe critics and self proclaimed reviewers...thanks to the new generation of free for all press medium, we are blessed with tons of these first day reviews (lol) I have a startegy here now...I first watch the movie and then read the review. Check out any new reviews(for hindi, telugu, tamil) movies..the reviewer get carried away and disclose the story..they just dont get it.. My take on this movie- a good , funny , who-donit with a elements of practical jokes, not to idealistic (lead actor/cop taking bribe, for a change), very good locations and camera work( delhi has been captured well)..as far as homosexuality jokes probably twice or thrice..not as exxagerated by our "reviewer".. Irfhan Khan and ArshadWarsi at their usual best.. the major let down for me was unncessary interruptions with mediocre songs. that's my take..short and sweet, cheers and enjoy the movie in a theater.

yeah.. u ppl like sick comedies like Welcome and Sunday, and then say OSO is the worst, it is nonsense, etc etc.....
Oh God, you saw Welcome twice? My word, take a bow! Please suggest 5 points why such movies are better than OSO? (Ok, the 6 packs apart :P )

OSO is the worst movie I ever saw. The guy who told us to watch it did comment ' Its so-so, but children will find it entertaining.' My word! Even Duplicate and Badshah are 10 times better than OSO. No more will I take comments of Farah Khan legibly.

and who is laughing all the way to the bank.. it entertained to crores of people like u and me.. we come out with our opinion and believe me, apart from this rediff message board, whomever i know from srinagar to kanyakumari & sydney to san fransisco, people have enjoyed the movie and at the same time said its something where u shud keep your brain at home.. spoofs are to be enjoyed with an open heart... nothing special abt shahrukh khan but the music and the whole first half was such a revealation that i for myself forgot i was watching a movie.. it was a festival unleashed actually... and we stand to lose in a crowd anyway, when 90% of the outside world enjoyed it, one should assume that message boards like ours do not give a true picture... all the best.. jay
Sunday is no match to originl version(telugu). Infact I was not aware that this movie is a remake of Anagana Oka Roja(Once upon a Day). Apparently bollywood producers do not have stories and that is why they are depending on Tollywood and kollywood. Guys think out of the box you will definitly find good scripts.

Guys it is not the case that Bollywood do not hav stories, but by remaking regional languages films they are making understand to the audience who dont know such languages. So chill and enjoy.

yeah.. same here... even I dint know it was the remake of AOR. In comparison, it was a sick remake, with needless comedy and irritating interruption with unpalatable songs. But, in fairness, it looks like such movies are the mantra for Bollywood movie-goers. Take a thrilling movie, remake it, add non-sensical comedy, and re-package it. Bhool Bulaiyya, Sunday, Welcome etc are perfect examples.
Its a supply-demand thing, and as long as its a hit, no one cares.
