i personally not feel that this movie will be superhit.it doesn't mean that laagan and swades were the superhits this film will also be something like that.

1stly...swades was not a superhit.... 2ndly...being a superhit is not the only thing...even craps like dhoom 2 have been superhits
I have been listening to ARR since Roja days. I feel he has done his best here, in Jodha Akhbar the scope of music was limited. One should not expect foot tapping numbers of periodicals like Mitwa (lagaan) here.Its challenging for a music composer to score in such situations. ARR has proved he can deliver.

We should have imposed a ban on "Ashoka" as well, if we go by your logic.
I dont understand how people can compare people who belonged to different generations. All of them are great in their own way. They were the best of their generation. The kind of movies to which RD composed is not the ones to which ARR composes or IR composed. The movies were different, the sensibilities of the listeners were different, the exposure that the listeners has is different.
Just enjoy the music and please dont get into such lousy comparison.
