MGR was loved and accepted more than Rajini, still MGR was not a gr8 actor.. it was SHIVAJI GANESAN.

Dear Friedn !! I will not agree to it. MGR & Sivaji are two contrasting characters in fiml industry. Sivaji touches the hearts of every family member of the south indian community. Dialogues are touching. MGR & Rajini are having the same charisma and crowd pullers. The films are made hit for their punching dialogues. There will be always a message to the publics. Rajini will definitely come to politics. He will not join any other party. He will create a party of his own. He is having mass support. His fans would love it if that thing comes true.
Every citizen has the right to make himself as a leader or form a party. Aage is not a factor at all for politics.

He supported parties like DMK just to quench his personal animosity agianst JAYA. He can never be a matured politician. Better he spends his time in cinema acting in very ordinary rools like 'SIVAJI', which anyway will be hit among his crazy fans. That is easy for him.

Like Mr.Shah Rukh who had his 'swades' and 'chak de' to prove his acting capabilities...Rajni had his own films which displayed his acting histrionics....
Its a pain to see people write off actors who are popular entertainers by chance.

Rajini is good human being and good actor. But he got trapped in image and fans demand to play stereotyped films.
Kamal Hassan is undoubtedly the best actor not only in South but all India.

FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION BHARATH RAJ, RAJINI ONCE SAID THAT CHIRANJEEVI WAS A COMBINATION OF BOTH HIMSELF ( IN STYLE )AND KAMAL HASAN ( IN ACTING ).
In January 2007, when I was in Melbourne, the city Museum had organised an exhibition for Australians on "Indian Cinema". I bought a ticket and visited it. I was shocked to see that the organisers (local Indians) had projected only Hindi cinema as Indian cinema and there was no mention of cinema in other Indian languages. This was more shocking to me since the South Indian cinema is as popular as Hindi cinema if not more popular world wide and has contributed a lot to the Indian film industry. Now I am in U.S and here also Indian movies means only Bollywood movies and not the many excellent movies made in south. It is a real shame.

To the best of my knowledge Shivaji Ganeshan is the only actor to to be honoured with Mourice Chevalier award. People in france have certainly recognised this great tamil actor.

yes, But ask them from true of the heart.. most of those movies in north which were there in film festival would have a major south indian contribution..
And simply blaming will not work,, because there point of view hindhi is our national language.. And they want to portray india means india.. but who cares them
our south indian movies doing wonders in film festival.. In 2004 to 2007 every year atleast 3 films won some or the other award in foriegn film festival,,
TN can be saved only charismatic person like Rajni. These dravidians and congress people have spoiled TN. There is water problem everywhere - no action taken. Infrastrcuture is catching up only now. Power is a major problem. The biggest problem is dravidian parties. Rajini is a person who can save TN and take that like Maharashtra and put the state as number one state in India. God, I pray you to come in Rajni's dreams and order him to take up politician role.

dont disturb rajini. he is happy acting in movies like sivaji and create some funny stir with cinematic dialogues. He will be a flop in politics. The kind of hard work and maturity needed in political environement, he does not have.

may be in several movies like NETRIKANN,YENGEYO KAETTA KURAL,MOONDRU MUGAM... but certainly 'sivaji' movie was unbeleivably rotten...After seeing sivaji I immediately felt MAYAA KANNADI was better.

Kamal hassan and mohanlal are equally excellent actor. They have won 3 national awards each and also mammooty won 3 national awards. Kamal hassan ventured into story, screenplay writing, directing, producing, singing, and is also a good classical dancer. Mohanlal wnt to producing one movie so far tht won in cannes film festival. Each of them acted w/grt actor i.e sathyan,mgr,sivaji ganeshan. Kamal hassan ws first introduced to cinema as an adult havin a lead role in malayalam films, although he acted whn he ws a kid in one tamil film. Mani ratnam is a grt fan of mohanlal and thn kamal hassan.
