BOLDEST CLIMAX
by daniel craig on Jan 20, 2008 01:29 AM

OF COURSE, THER R MANY "FLOP STAR" FANS WHO WANTS HEROES TO WEAR DARK GLASSES N WIN ALWAYS TRYING TO SPOIL A GUD FILM'S NAME TALKING ABOUT THE CLIMAX...HERE'S WHAT EDUCATED WEBSITES TALK ABOUT THE CLIMAX

Tamil filmmakers, right from the beginning, have been with a mind set that doesn%u2019t allow them to have the so-called negative climax. Tamil cinema, over the years, has formulated certain unwritten laws and stuck to the laws with loyalty. One of those laws is that the hero will never go wrong or fail. He must be shown as a positive force, even if he indulges in criminal activities. Finally, he should go scot-free under the disguise of moral authority.

However, we have had a few films that have defied this set pattern and %u2018Bheemaa%u2019 is the latest arrival to this exceptional group of movies. Lingusamy and his team have had the guts to opt for a realistic and seemingly negative climax to %u2018Bheemaa%u2019. The climax doesn%u2019t justify the acts of the protagonist. In fact the director hasn%u2019t tried to justify the hero in the whole movie. He has just portrayed the character with its shades and the psychological background of the man.

The climax is the highpoint of the movie with its realistic approach. The unexpected climax defies the clich?endings of the films belonging to this genre. The director and the dialogue writer S. Ramakrishnan have done well by presenting the whole thing in a convincing manner.

The climax also has a message without pr

Ajit's Billa distributor Pyramid Saimira is preparing to battle the threat faced from Bheema distributed by Ayngaran International through local distributors in Tamilnadu.
Billa collections have come down, but Pyramid wants the theatres that it controls, to continue screening the film now in its fifth week.

well, this is natural, everyone knows ajit films only give openings n thats mainly due to his fans who regardless of his flops go n watch his films, so it was expected billa will never run for long in many theaters, after all its a film which had people wearing dark glasses, dark suits, shot half in dark, n trying to make the money-paying viewer total dark!! vikram is a magnificent actor who is not only regarded highly in tamilnadu but all over india, so no comparisons ther! he mite not b as big a commercial star like some of the mass heroes in tamil, but neither is kamal hassan. get the point? v r waitin for more miraculous performances from the two acting masters in tamil films, kamal n vikram, n given their track record we all know they wont disappoint..so letz rejoice!!!

Mr.daniel craig & Mr.varunraj
Both of you rejoice for "PEEEEEMA" flop. This time your "Bheema" will be died by "BILLA". The "BRILLIANT BILLA" knows to dominate and occupy your Bheema. Yesterday I saw the Bheema at Galleria-1, Dubai. Most of the family audience they left the theatre at interval.
Onemorething, By "Brilliant BILLA" Pyramid Saimira they hav gained huge profits to compensate "Any Time Flop"(ATM) movie loss.

DESPERATE ATTEMPTS BY DESPERATE ''POT BELLIED PILLA'' FANS!
by daniel craig on Jan 20, 2008 01:14 AM  | Hide replies

WE R SEEING SOME DESPERATE ATTEMPTS BY DESPERATE POT-BELLY STAR'S FANS HERE TO DERAIL A REAL ACTOR'S REAL HIT FILM...PLEASE NOTE ALL, NO SITE HAS GIVEN A BAD REVIEW ON THIS FILM, SO "POT BELLY STAR'S" FANS R PROMOTING THEMSELVES TO DO IT UNSUCCESSFULLY...DIS IS INDIAGLITZ...CHEK IT OUT!

The confidence of %u2018Bheemaa%u2019 team is vindicated. The movie, which hits the screen after a lot of troubles and struggles, has been received by the audiences with overwhelming response. The seats for the first few days have been booked within a few hours of the opening of the reservations, inform the theatre sources.

Bheemaa%u2019s opening is second only to that of %u2018Sivaji%u2019. The queues in front of the reservation counters, flood of telephonic enquiries, and heavy traffic over internet bookings are clear indications of the success of the movie.

Sathyam Cinemas screen nine shows a day till January 20. There will be five shows daily at the big screen in addition with daily morning shows in four small screens.

In Abirami complex, %u2018Bheemaa%u2019 tickets are said to be sold out for the first four days all four shows in two screens.

Mayajaal multiplex has an incredible number of shows, i.e., 30 shows per day spread in 9 screens.

With all this, %u2018Bheemaa%u2019 is clearly ahead of the rest of the Pongal movies

VIKRAM RULES
by daniel craig on Jan 20, 2008 01:06 AM

The words perfectly fit the role of Vikram vis-à-vis the movie Bheema is concerned. In other words, he is not only the Bheemaa IN the movie. He is the Bheemaa OF the movie. He has carried the movie on his strong and able shoulders just as the legendary Bheemaa carried his brothers and mother through the dangerous jungles.

True. Bheemaa has excellent music and outstanding camera work. Lingusamy has come out with a script that deals with the subject with sincerity. Ramakrishnan has penned some sharp and sensible dialogues. Kanal Kannan has stunningly choreographed the stunts. Trisha adds marvel to the fare, while Prakash Raj delivers a powerful performance.

However, it is Vikram, who is the lifeline of the movie. Lingusamy once said that he has shaped the story keeping Vikram in his mind. Vikram has more than lived up to his expectations.

Vikram personifies the essence of the legendary character Bheemaa, who dares to take on anybody, come what may. Bheema is fearless. You look at Vikram%u2019s eyes in the film and you can make out what is fearlessness.

There will be many who would appreciate Vikram for his portrayal of a mentally affected person in %u2018Sethu%u2019. His portrayal of a visually impaired in %u2018Kasi%u2019, his handling of a graveyard caretaker with animal instincts in %u2018Pithamagan%u2019, and his unbelievable depiction of multiple personality in Anniyan had many takers and admirers. But Vikram%u2019s dimensions do not confined to these roles alone. He has much more to be adored.

DONT BELIEVE THESE BILLA FANS HERE IN DISGUISE@!
by daniel craig on Jan 20, 2008 01:04 AM

But when he was offered a chance, he grabbed it and porved the world who he was. The success of Sethu was followed by the successes of Dhill, (2001), Gemini (2002), Dhool, and Saamy (both in 2003). The film prompted director Shankar to notice the potential in him. He booked him for his mega project Anniyan.

Vikram, one of the rare actors, who could hold the movie with his performance, has won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in Pithamagan in 2003. He has also won the 52nd Filmfare South Award for Best Actor for his good performance in Anniyan, 2005.

These awards are just a few indications of the heights Vikram, the outstanding actor is about to reach.

Very few actors would have maintained their charm even if they do not have any releases for a couple of years. Vikram has proved that he is one such actor. Bheemaa came after 26 months of his previous release (Majaa in 2005 November). When Bheemaa was delayed due to financial troubles, Vikram showed his commitment and loyalty towards the project he had taken up. He had actually owned up the project and hence decided to fore go many offers that could have fetched him more fame and crores of money.

It is the commitment and rare talent that make Vikram stand out. When such an actor throws his weight behind a project like Bheemaa, there will be little doubt about the success of the venture. The results pouring from various centers prove this point beyond doubt.

Vikram's 'Bheema' flops in Tamilnadu
by Austin on Jan 19, 2008 04:41 PM  | Hide replies

Vikram and A M Ratnam's much delayed Bheema was released in Tamilanadu for Sankranthi. But the film failed to create any impact at Box-office. According to Chennai trade circles, it is a big dud for Sankranthi in Tamilnadu as it lacks entertainment. Vikram could not pull off the magic this time and it is a colossal flop.

As the verdict in Tamilnadu is out, the film will find tough time for takers in Andhra Pradesh for its Telugu version. The Telugu version is bought by SPR Entertainments from producer A M Rathnam.

Bheema stars Trisha as the heroine and is directed by Linguswamy who claims that he will direct his next with Mahesh Babu for Megasupergood Films.
